Utkal University is a UGC Recognized, AICTE Approved and one of the oldest universities in India founded in 1943. This is the largest affiliating university with 267 affiliated general colleges, 15 law colleges and 6 medical and pharmacy colleges. The university imparts professional /nonprofessional education, research, and training.
Only aspirants with the relevant qualification can register for the above-mentioned programmes. As per the rules of GOI, seats are reserved for people belonging to various categories such as SC/ST/BC etc. Admission to the above programmes is done on the basis of Entrance examination/ qualifying degree/both. as well as special categories viz. Differently-abled etc. Aspirants can register for admission by filling-in the application form and submit the need procedureing.

The aspirant must have passed the qualifying degree i.e. B.Pharma or equivalent degree with minimum 50%marks (45 % for SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled etc) from a recognized university.
The application form may be collected from the Office the Chairman, Post Graduate Council or from the Office of the Heads of the Department on payment of Rs. 600/- at the university cash counter.
The aspirants can also obtain the application form from the university website. All fields in the application form should be correctly and completely filled-in with the relevant information.

The aspirant must submit the photo affixed and duly signed the application and the following copies of following documents.

In case of sponsored IMCA/M. Tech (CS) aspirant needs to submit two bank drafts
Admission to M.Tech courses is done on the basis of Entrance examination organized by the respective departments of the university. However, admission to MBA/MCA & M.Pharm. of India
Hostel facility: The university offers separate hostel facility for boys and girls with different recreational facilities like broadband, sports etc.is done on the basis of OJEE.

Step 1: Fill in the Application form
Aspirants willing to apply for Utkal University Entrance Test need to fill in the application form. The application fee is Rs 600. The application fee for admission to MTech is Rs 1000. Aspirants must note that the fee can be paid only via the following methods:
Step 2: Download Utkal University Entrance Test 2018 Admit Card
Aspirants who register successfully for the exam will be allotted admit cards. The same will be available online which test-takers need to download from the official website of Utkal University. The original admit card needs to be produced at the exam center.
Step 3: Appear for Utkal University Entrance Test 2018
Aspirants who receive their admit cards will be eligible to appear for the Utkal University Entrance Test. The syllabus of the entrance test will differ on the basis of the subject for which the Aspirants has applied. The test will be an affiliate in an offline method.
Step 4: Check Utkal University Entrance Test 2018 Result
Test-takers can expect the results within a month from the date of examination. The same will be displayed online and Aspirants can download their scorecards from the University’s official website.
Step 5: Group Discussion & Personal Interview
The University conducts Group Discussion & Personal Interview for a few courses. This entirely depends on the course selected by the Aspirants. For the courses where GD and PI are not affiliated, admission will be granted on the basis of marks obtained in the University’s entrance test.
