Hyderabad University (UOH) is a public university founded in 1974. The university provides different courses in its various Departments or Schools.
At the Post Graduate level, University of Hyderabad provides M.Tech in 6 various specializations. Aspirants with a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field are applicable to apply. Admission to M.Tech is done via valid score in GATE 2018 and also via entrance test organized by the university.
UOH also provides M.Sc in 13 specializations for which aspirants must hold a B.Sc degree in the relevant field to be applicable for admission. Admission to M.Sc is based on the performance in the entrance test organized by Hyderabad University followed by an interview.

M.Sc admissions are based on the entrance test organized by the University of Hyderabad. For admission to M.Sc in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, an interview will be organized after the entrance test.
Admission to M.Tech is done on the basis of valid score in GATE 2018. However, admission to M.Sc in Biotechnology is given on the basis of CBEE test organized by JNU, New Delhi. However, admission to M.Tech in Bioinformatics is granted on the basis of an entrance test followed by an interview organized by Hyderabad University. GATE qualified aspirants can also appear for the interview for admission in M.Tech Bioinformatics based on their valid rank.
