Lucknow University was founded in 1921, is one of the oldest government-owned institutions of Indian higher education. Admission to M.Ed course is done on the basis written test followed by an interview. It provides different Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral education in different streams such as Arts, Science, commerce, law etc. Aspirants want admission to M.Ed provideed by Lucknow University, can apply online on the official website.

The eligibility criteria is as follows:
Aspirants must check the eligibility criteria before registering for the course to avoid rejection of candidature. The documents are as follows:
Application fee required to be paid for the application procedure to be considered clear. The application fee is as follows: They will receive login details on the registered mobile number and email id.
Step 2: Individual & Educational Details - Participants required to fill all the relevant individual and educational information correctly and cautiously.
Step 3: Upload photo and signature - Scanned photograph and signature in jpeg pattern required to be uploaded.
Step 4: Preview - At this point, you can view your application form and make any changes if need. If once submitted you will not be able to make any changes.
Step 5: Application Fee - Once you have checked the information after that you can proceed towards the payment of application fee.
Step 6: Print Application Form - Aspirants can take print out of application form and fee receipt for future reference.
Aspirant required to attach scanned copies of all the relevant documents. The steps of the application process are as follows:

The selection procedure of aspirants for M.Ed admissions will be based on three things i.e. Written test, Academic Index weightage and interview.
Period of a test is 3 hours and would include:
Period of 2 hours will be given for mental ability and Subject competence test (Multiple choices) and rest 1 hour will be for Subject competence test (Short Response) and language comprehension.
The weightage of the academic result will be 50 marks.

An interview will take place to assess subject knowledge, teaching ability and individuality of aspirant. This section includes of 10 short response questions of 2 marks each.
Final merit list will be out on the basis of marks in written test (250 marks), academic index weightage (50 marks) and Interview (10 marks). Aspirant required to attempt both the languages. The section is of 50 marks in total. For this, a separate OMR sheet will be offered.
A reservation policy is being followed by Lucknow University which is as follows:

The scheduled caste, scheduled tribes and other backward class aspirants originally belonging to Uttar Pradesh will be given the benefit of reservation. Scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward class aspirants of other states will be treated as general.
