Engineering and Pharmacy courses in Shivaji University are offered to students via Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra which maintains and enhance the quality of technical education in the University. For admission to B.E./B.Tech and B.Pharm courses a state level common entrance test has been organizeed by MHTCET authority. Applications are made online and submission of application fee is made via a bank challan. For applying to CET, aspirants need to enter a valid email id, phone number and a password which is to be kept in records by the aspirants for further uses. Physics, Chemistry and Biology papers are in Hindi/Urdu/English however, Mathematics paper is in English only. Admit card is available online and print out of the same is to be taken by aspirants and should be taken to the examination centre along with a valid ID proof. As per the performance of aspirants in the common entrance test a merit list will be announced on the basis of which selection of aspirants will be done.

How To Apply for SU (Shivaji University) B.E/B. Tech, B. Pharm Admission 2018

BE/B.Tech & B.Pharm

  • Aspirants need to visit MHTCET official website and select MHT CET 2018 Registration. These three things are to be kept in record by the aspirant for future use.
  • Aspirants need to take the print out of the bank challan and make payment to any of the SBI disciplines. Then aspirants need to fill the need details and to upload a recent colour photograph and signature. Aspirants need to enter a valid email id, mobile number and password. The application fee is INR 800 for open category and INR 600 for reserved category aspirants.

NOTE: Aspirants need to pay INR 60 as bank procedure fee.

  • After filling the application fee, aspirants need to take print out a confirmation page from www.mhtcet2017.co.in. This confirmation page can be taken out after 24 hours of payment of fee via bank challan.
  • Once the notification for the issue of hall ticket is announced, aspirants can download their hall ticket from the same website with their unique username and password.

User Facts:

  1. The photograph and signature of aspirants are to be of a 50kb size, more than that is not acceptable.
  2. Photograph is to be uploaded as photo.jpeg and signature as sign.jpeg
  3. The photograph should be taken in white background.
  4. The signature should be done on white paper with a black pen.
  5. Scan the signature in 200dpi (dots per inch)

NOTE: Incomplete application form is subjected to rejection and no information regarding this will be forwarded to aspirants by the authority.


Admission Procedure for SU B.E/B. Tech, B. Pharm Admission 2018

BE/B.Tech & B.Pharm

  • For getting admission to engineering and Pharmacy programmes aspirants are need to appear for an entrance test. Aspirants are applicable o enter in the examination hall with downloaded hall ticket along with a valid photo ID proof.
  • A merit list will be announced for those aspirants who have qualified the entrance test.
  • The result for entrance test will be made available on www.dmer.org after that further process for completing the admission is performed.

User fact: Language for examination paper will be Hindi/Urdu/English whereas; language for Mathematics question paper will be English only.

NOTE:

  • After the declaration of results, aspirants can view their response sheet on DMER website by login to the site with their username and password.
  • If aspirants seeking to verify their marks scored in the exams then, they need to send an application in a self-addressed envelope along with a Demand Draft of INR 1000 drawn in favour Commissionerate, State CET CELL, Mumbai, payable at Mumbai within 4 days of the declaration of results.
  • In OMR sheet responses are to be made by darkening the bubbles with black ball pen only.
  • Provisional response key will be made available on DMER website.
  • If aspirants feel any issue in the question paper then they can submit their objection on www.mhtcet2017.co.in from May 25 to 27, 2017 (tentative).
  • The OMR sheet will be available to aspirants on the website which can be accessed via their unique username and password.
Paper basically contains multiple choice questions and has no choice i.e. all questions are to be responded. Entrance test consists of 3 question papers each of 100 marks. The period for each paper is one and half hour each.
