Saveetha University has eight departments ranging from Engineering, Management to Medicine. Saveetha Dental College, a constituent college of Saveetha University invites applications for a four years Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course with one year of internship for the academic year 2018-19. The admission is based on merit depending upon the performance in the Entrance Exam organizeed by the University usually in April.
BDS degree from Saveetha University gives license to exercise as a dentist in India, Sri-Lanka, Malaysia, Nepal and Singapore. This degree is also accepted for post-graduation in different countries like Canada, USA, Australia, etc.

Aspirants required to submit original and three sets of photocopies of the following documents:
Aspirants are selected on the basis of the Entrance Exam organizeed by the University. The Entrance Exam will include of 150 multiple choice questions (MCQs).
The period of this exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes. All questions will carry one mark.
There is no negative marking.
The exam is held only at the following centres: Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad and New Delhi.
Questions will be asked from Physics (40 questions), Chemistry (40 questions), Biology (20 questions) and Analytical Reasoning (50 questions) based on Plus two (State Board) and CBSE syllabus.
The reservation criteria will be as per the norms prescribed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
