Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL) is a deemed-to-be University established by Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The university is based on the gurukul system of ancient India wherein education is offered free from kindergarten to post-graduation. The Sri Sathya Sai University in Prashanthi Nilayam was the only college in India in the past to have received an "A++" rating by the NAAC.
SSSIHL offers free education to students in all programmes of study. It requires the students to be compulsorily resident at the hostel during the entire duration of the study. The university hosts over 1300 undergraduate, postgraduate and professional programme students across four campuses. This comprises waiver of all fees- tuition, examinations, laboratory, library, sports and medical. Therefore, only single (bachelor/maiden) students will be admitted.
The University invites applications for admission to the postgraduate programmes for the academic year 2018-19. The application can be availed both online and in person and must be submitted by March 10th, 2018. The programmes are for a period of two years. They comprise Master of Arts and Master of Science Programmes. There are separate courses for men and women.

For all courses:
You should have finished the 10+2 years of schooling from a recognised board (CBSE or equivalent) and 3 years of university (total 15 years) as recognised by SSSIHL. You should have either passed or appeared for Final exams at Bachelor’s degree level securing an at least of 50% marks or more in English and 60% marks in aggregate including English, or a CGPA aggregate of 6 or more (10-point scale) and 5 or more (10-point scale) in English.

For Online Application:
You should log on to the Institute’s website.
You should then click on the link for online application, and you will be guided step-by-step on how to fill in the form.
You must have an email id to log-in. You must mention your name and clear postal address at the back of the Demand Draft.
You should then fill the Application Form with the need individual and education details. Once finished, you will be able to view the filled-in application form in PDF pattern and save it on your computer.
You should take a print out of the Application Form.
For Paper Application (By Hand):
You must send a written request comprising of a Requisition Letter indicating the Programme you would like to apply for and a Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order of Rs. 100 drawn in favor of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, payable at SBI, Prasanthi Nilayam/Puttaparthi.

You should then staple the filled application form with all supporting materials. Then, seal them in an A4-sized envelope.
If you have chosen to pay online, you should print and attach a copy of the electronic receipt. You should then fill the Form with the need individual and educational details.
You should then submit the Application Form. The Bank draft should be drawn in favor of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, payable at SBI, Prasanthi Nilayam/Puttaparthi.

Your selection will be on the basis of an Entrance Test followed by an Interview.
The Entrance Test will consist of two papers. Paper 1 will be on General English which will cover Comprehension, Vocabulary, Grammar, Compositions, and spelling.
Paper 2 will be specific to every course and will consist of both objective and subjective type questions. The question paper of two hours period and carrying 75 marks.

The reservation criteria will be as per the norms prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
