Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University (SRTMU), Nanded was founded in 1994. Named after Swami Ramanand Teerth, it is situated at Nanded in Maharashtra. The university is intended to cater primarily the southern part of Marathwada, specifically the districts of Nanded, Latur, Parbhani, and Hingoli. The University has been recognized by UGC and accorded a CGPA of 3.06 on a scale of 4 by the NAAC.

The University Founded Committee had visualised a region-specific University with non-conventional courses with a School system for campus teaching to initiate and promote interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary studies. The university has identified study centres at the various colleges in the jurisdiction of the university. There are (13) PG study centres and (41) undergraduate study centres.

SRTMUN – Directorate for Distance Education, a part of SRTMU invites applications for admission to the Distance Education programmes for the academic year. are for a 3 years period and the MA programme is a two-year course. The undergraduate programmes including BA, BBA and B.Com. The admission for the programmes begins in July and the duly filled form must be submitted.

Eligibility Criteria for SRTMU Distance Education Admission 2018

BA , B.Com & BBA/BBM

For all courses: You will be applicable if you fulfil any of the following criteria:

  • You should have finished two years of D.Ed. course
  • You should have passed higher secondary school certificate exam organizeed by the Maharashtra Board of secondary and higher secondary education, Pune and also passed equivalent examination organizeed by other states
  • You should have passed your polytechnic diploma.
  • You should have passed your S.S.C. examination and finished two years of any diploma, Certificate course organizeed by the competent authority (DCE, DME, DEE, D.Phar., ATD, MCVC )

Age: You should have finished 18 years of age.

MA

You will be applicable if you fulfil any of the following criteria:

  • You should have a Bachelor’s degree in humanities and social sciences from any UGC and state, deemed, central universities from India and abroad.
  • You should have a Bachelor’s degree from any UGC recognised university in commerce, Science, agriculture, B.B.A. and studied the two years of the related subject 

Any graduate having been done any practical work is not allowed to this course.

Age: You should have finished 18 years of age.

The Registration and Admission procedure is organizeed at the Study centres affiliated with the University.

You can find the admission form online on the website or collect it from the study centres.

Application Fee: You should pay the following Application fee via a Demand Draft made in favour of the “Finance and Account officer SRTM University, Nanded” payable at Nanded:

  • Rs. 200 for BBA Programme
  • Rs. 100 for BA and B.Com. Programmes
  • Rs. 200for MA Programme

You should fill the form with the need individual and educational details and affix the photograph in the space offered. You must attach the necessary attested photocopies of each supporting document and the DD of the need fees.
