Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (Sri Padmavati University) is a women’s University located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The Admissions in the University are limited to women aspirants only. The University provides different undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes in various specializations. It is a state wide University admitting students from all the Regions of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (i.e., Rayalaseema, Andhra regions of A.P and state of Telangana) in the ratio of 22:42:36 respectively.

The University has linkages with foreign universities and national organizations. The University has also been accredited with four stars by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.

The University invites applications for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programme and Master of Computer Application (MCA) Programme for the academic year. The entire application procedure is online and must be finished by March 5th, 2018. The admission to both the courses will take place via the APICET 2018 Examination to be organizeed on May 16th, 2018.

Eligibility Criteria:

For both MBA and MCA Programmes:

You should have passed a recognized Bachelor’s Degree examination of minimum three years period with at least 50% marks for general category and 45% marks in case of SC, ST reserved category in the qualifying examination with Mathematics or one of the subjects at 10+2 level.

If you have obtained the qualifying Degree by Distance Method Program, it should have recognition by a joint committee of UGC, AICTE, and DEC.

Nationality: You should be an Indian national only.

Step To Apply

MBA/PGDM & MCA

For both MBA and MCA Programmes:

With the payment of application fee, the registration will conclude. You should then click on the “Apply Online” tab.

You should also upload your scanned passport sized color photograph and signature in the form.

Then you will have to fill in personal, qualification, contact details in the form.

You should fill the Application form online on the APICET website. You must take a printout of filled-in AP ICET 2016 Application Form and keep it safe for future use.

You should then review the application form cautiously and submit the same by clicking on the “Submit” tab.
Next, the “Registration Fee Payment Process” Web Page will appear on the screen. You should now make the payment of application fee using available payment modes.

Application Fee: You must make the fee payment of Rs.350 by selecting the suitable Registration Fee payment method from among AP Online, e-Seva, MeeSeva or Debit / Credit card.

With the payment of application fee, the registration will conclude. You must take a printout of filled-in AP ICET 2016 Application Form and keep it safe for future use.

You will need to register using your email id & password.

Admission Procedure

MBA/PGDM & MCA

For both MBA and MCA Programmes:-

You will be selected on the basis of Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET) 2018.

This is an objective type test and the questions are of multiple choice type carrying a maximum of 200 marks. Section-C is on Communication Ability carrying 50 questions. The test consists of 200 questions of with one mark honored for every accurate response.

The exam is designed so as to measure your ability to think systematically, to use the verbal and mathematical skills and to assess your aptitude for admission into MBA/MCA programme.

The Model paper is also available on the website.

You should be able to secure a minimum of 25% marks (i.e. 50 marks out of total 200 marks) for general category. It is for a period of 2 and a half hours. However, you will not need to secure any minimum qualifying percentage if you belong to the Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes category.

It consists of three sections. Section A includes of Analytical Ability and Section B consists of Mathematical Ability with 75 questions each.

Reservation Criteria

Admission to 85% of the available seats shall be reserved in favor of the local areas: Andhra, Telangana, and Rayalaseema. Reservation for SC/ST/BC/PHC and other categories shall be followed as per the rules prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
