Shiv Nadar University is a private interdisciplinary research university founded in 2011. Presently it has 191 academic staff and 2116 students enrolled in different Undergraduate, Post-graduate and Doctoral courses.

University provides high-quality education in degree, diploma and certification level programs in humanities, management, science, research and education.

University provides admission to aspirants in Bachelor of Technology program. Different specializations under B.Tech are Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

For B.Tech admissions:

  • Application fee of INR 1900 can be paid via Demand draft or Credit/ Debit card.
  • The basic eligibility criteria are based upon the board you have passed 10+2 with.
  • The application procedure is clearly online.
  • Aspirants not able to fulfil the eligibility criteria must have JEE Main Score of greater than 120 for admission.
  • Registration starts by the First week of April 2018.
  • Selection of aspirants will be based upon 2 aspects i.e. Eligibility and Performance in Shiv Nadar University Scholastic Aptitude Test (SNUSAT) and Academic Proficiency Test (APT).
  • Total seat intake including all specializations is 300.

Eligibility criteria are set up by the University for Prior Shortlisting of aspirants. The eligibility criteria differ on the basis of the board from which aspirant has passed 10+2.

Shiv Nadar University B.Tech Application Procedure

BE/B.Tech

The application procedure is clearly online. The steps of application procedure are as follows:

  • Visit the official website.
  • Upload the scanned recent passport size photograph and submit it.
  • Make payment and submit it finally.
  • A new aspirant must register themselves first with basic information and submit it.
  • A verification link will be sent to registered email, click on the link and verify yourself.
  • Click on ‘Admission’ tab and further on ‘Engineering’ tab.
  • Now login and fill in the application form.
  • Aspirants making online payment will be directed to the payment page.
  • A new window appears depicting the link between registration and login.

Aspirant making payment via Demand Draft must send filled-in application form along with DD at:

Application Fee

Application fee of INR 1900 must be paid by the aspirant to clear the application procedure. Aspirants required to visit the official website for registering themselves for the course. In offline mode, the fee must be paid via Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Shiv Nadar University” payable at par in Noida.

The fee can be paid via both online and offline modes. In online mode, the fee must be paid via Credit Card/ Debit Card.

Selection of aspirants into B.Tech program has three parts such as:

  • Eligibility based on Class XII scores
  • Review of Application Form for the aspirant’s aspiration in life and the ability to be a stakeholder at Shiv Nadar University
  • Shiv Nadar University Scholastic Aptitude Test (SNUSAT) and Academic Proficiency Test (APT)

Weightage of 3 aspects is as follows:

Shiv Nadar University Scholastic Aptitude Test (SNUSAT) and Academic Proficiency Test (APT)

The clear period of the exam is 3 hours. For SNUSAT, aspirants will be offered 2 hours and for APT, 1 hour will be offered. SNUSAT exam is common for all programs and is divided into 4 sections with a specific time period to attempt it: All questions are Multiple Choice Questions with no negative marking.
