Master of Technology (M.Tech) and Master of Law (LL.M.) offer top-notch knowledge about technology and law respectively. For M.Tech course, aspirants need to have done B. Tech/B.E. or M.Sc. in the relevant subject to meet the eligibility criteria. Shivaji University offers M.Tech for which selection is made on the basis of valid GATE score. These courses are preferred by those students who are enthusiastic towards gaining knowledge in respective fields. If seats remain vacant in M.Tech programme then, admission will be taken on the basis of an entrance test followed by the interview. Application form for LL.M. is available in the month of April, merit and further admission procedure is to be organized in the month of June. Apart from the government regulations, the university also has the provision to offer the scholarship to deserving aspirants. Admission to LL.M. programme is made on the basis of entrance test organized by the University.

Shivaji University PG Admission 2018 Eligibility Criteria

ME/M.Tech

Aspirants need to have done B.E./B.Tech from any recognized University in the relevant field is qualified for the M.Tech programme.

NOTE: If aspirants hold an M.Sc. degree in the respective specialization then, they such aspirants are also qualified for the M.Tech programme.

The number of seats:

In each specialization of the M.Tech programme, there are 18 seats on which admission is to be made by the University.

Master of Laws [L.L.M.]

For LLM programme, aspirants need to have done 3 year LLB programme or 5 years integrated law course from any recognized University.

Those aspirants who have passed B.Pharm with 50% marks (45% for reserved category) are qualified for the programme.

Shivaji University PG Admission 2018 How To Apply?

For the M.Tech programme, a selection is made on the basis of GATE score. On the website, aspirants need to register themselves for applying the application form, after registration, they will be offered with a unique username and password helping in future.

The application fee is INR 750 for women and reserved category aspirants and INR 1500 for other aspirants.

To apply for GATE aspirants are need to visit http://www.gate.iisc.ernet.in/  and apply for the test.

Aspirants are need to visit www.mhtcet.co.in and select MHT CET Registration. Their aspirants need to fill the need details and upload a recent color photograph and signature. The application fee is INR 800 for open category aspirants and INR 600 for reserved category aspirants.

NOTE: Aspirants need to pay INR 60 as bank commission.

After filling the application fee, aspirants need to print out a confirmation page from www.mhtcet.co.in. These three things are to be kept in record by the aspirant for future use.

Aspirants need to take the print out of the bank challan and make payment to any of the SBI Branch. This confirmation page can be taken out after 24 hours of payment of fee via bank challan. Aspirants need to enter a valid email id, mobile number, and password.

Once the notification for the issue of hall ticket is announced, aspirants can download their hall ticket from the same website with their unique username and password.

User Facts:                                                        

  • The signature should be done on white paper with the black pen.
  • The photograph and signature of aspirants are to be of the 50kb size, more than that is not acceptable.
  • The photograph is to be uploaded as photo.jpeg and signature as sign.jpeg
  • Scan the signature in 200dpi (dots per inch)
  • The photograph should be taken in white background.

NOTE: For applying to health sciences course aspirants are need to be born on or before October 01, 1999.

The incomplete application form is subjected to rejection and no information regarding this will be forwarded to aspirants by the authority.

LLM

Aspirants need to fill the application form on www.onlineshivajiuniversity.in. Entrance examination fee for each subject is INR 200 which is to be submitted in form of a Demand Draft drawn in favor of Finance and Accounts Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur. The application form is available online only.

The application form along with the Demand Draft is to be submitted to the related department either by post/courier or by the person.

Aspirants can also avail the copy of course directory by paying a sum of INR 100 to the University in form of cash or Demand Draft drawn in favor of Finance and Accounts Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur.

NOTE: If course directory is demanded via post then a sum of INR 30 extra is to be paid by the aspirants.

User facts:

  • There is also a provision to accepted application form with the super late fee of INR 500.
  • If there are less than 10 aspirants allotted to an examination center then that center is subjected to cancellation and information regarding this will be made available on the University website.
  • If aspirants seeking to apply for more than one course, than they need to fill various application forms.
  • Applications are accepted after the last date of submission with a late fee of INR 100.

Shivaji University PG Admission Procedure 2018

Selection to M.Tech course is made on the basis of a valid GATE score. Those aspirants who’ll qualify the entrance test need to appear in an interview organized by the University.

Scholarships:

Apart from the various schemes for scholarships offered by the government authorities, University has their own provision to offer the scholarship to deserving aspirants. 

University announces about 500 scholarships of INR 5000 and INR 10000 which is given to deserving aspirants enrolled with the University under the scheme of Shivaji University Merit Scholarship Scheme (SUMS).

If seats have remained vacant in any specialization of the M.Tech programme then, an entrance test will be organized by the University for selecting aspirants.

For getting admission to M.Pharm programme aspirants is need to appear for an entrance test. Aspirants need to enter the examination hall with the downloaded hall ticket and a valid photo ID proof.

The result for entrance test will be made available on www.dmer.org after that the further process for completing the admission is to be done.

A merit list will be announced for those aspirants who have elected the examination.

NOTE:

  • After the declaration of results, aspirants can view their response sheet on dmer website by login to the site with their username and password.
  • If aspirants feel any issue in the question paper then they can submit their objection on www.mhtcet.co.in.
  • If aspirants seeking to verify their marks scored in the exams then, they need to send an application in a self-addressed envelope along with a Demand Draft of INR 1000 drawn in favor Commissionerate, State CET CELL, Mumbai, payable at Mumbai within 4 days of the declaration of results.
  • The OMR sheet will be available to aspirants on the website which can be accessed via their unique username and password.
  • Provisional response key will be made available on the dmer website.
  • In OMR sheet responses are to be made by darkening the bubbles with black ball pen only.
Paper basically contains multiple choice questions and has no choice i.e. all questions are to be responded.

LLM

Admissions are made on the basis of entrance test organized by the University.

Centre for entrance test can be allotted in Kolhapur, Satara, and Sangli. Aspirants can select the test center according to their convenience and the allocation of same depends upon the availability.

Once the merit list is announced by the University aspirants can apply for scrutinizing the result, once the discrepancies (if any) is resolved by the University then a final merit list will be announced and admissions are to made on that basis only. Those aspirants who have got selected need to appear to the related department along with the course fee to confirm their admission. 

User facts:

  • Merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance of aspirants in the entrance test and qualifying exam. 50% weightage to both aspects will be given for preparing merit list.
  • Aspirants need to appear with a valid ID proof along with the hall ticket to the examination center, failing which aspirants will not be allowed to appear in the exam.
  • Responses in the OMR sheet is to be made by black ball point pen only.
