Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University (SGBAU) is a public university which was founded in 1983. Eligibility: Aspirant must possess B.Sc. Graduate degree from this university or any other recognised University.

Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State Aspirants:

For 1st year

  • The aspirant must qualify Common Entrance Test MAH-MCA-CET.
  • The aspirant should be an Indian National and should possess basic qualification.

For 2nd year:

  • The aspirant must qualify Common Entrance Test MAH-MCA-CET.
  • An aspirant should be an Indian National and should possess a basic qualification in Computer application, Computer science or Science (IT/Computer) i.e. BCA, BCS or Bachelor of Science (IT/Computer) appeared and qualified in the Common Entrance Test MAH-MCA-CET.

Eligibility criteria for OMS aspirants:

For 1st year:

  • An aspirant should be an Indian National and should possess basic qualification.
  • An aspirant must have qualified Common Entrance Test MAH-MCA-CET. Or Aspirant must qualify and appear in AIMCET

Eligibility criteria for J K Migrant aspirants:

  • An aspirant must qualify and appear in AIMCET.
  • An aspirant should be an Indian National and should possess basic qualification.

Eligibility criteria for NRI /Foreign National / PIO aspirants:

  • An aspirant must qualify in AIMCET.Or
  • Aspirant must qualify basic qualification.
  • The aspirant must pass any other equivalent entrance examination organizeed for the academic year.

Eligibility criteria for Minority / Institute Level:

For 1st year

  • An aspirant should be an Indian National and should possess basic qualification.
  • An aspirant must appear for AIMCET.Or

  • An aspirant must pass CET organizeed by an agency approved by Pravesh Niyantran Samiti.

For 2nd year

  • The aspirant should be an Indian National and should possess the basic qualification in Computer application, Computer science or Science (IT/Computer) i.e. BCA, BCS or Bachelor of Science (IT/Computer) appeared and qualified in the Common Entrance Test MAH-MCA-CET.
  • An aspirant must appear for AIMCET. Or
  • The aspirant must pass CET organizeed by the agency approved by Pravesh Niyantran Samiti.
  • The aspirant must qualify Common Entrance Test MAH-MCA-CET .Or

MCA

  • Aspirant Appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s degree by any of the Universities or other educational institutions
  • An aspirant should be an Indian National and must have qualified common entrance test.
  • An aspirant must have passed HSC and qualifying examination form Maharashtra state. Or
  • An aspirant must possess graduation degree from this university or any other university with at least of 50% aggregate marks and 45% marks for backward classes.

MBA/PGDM

  • An aspirant must possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the ministry of HRD, Government of India.Or
  • Aspirant Appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s degree by any of the Universities or other educational institutions
  • An aspirant must possess Graduate degree with at least of 50% aggregate marks (for open category) and 45% marks (for backward category aspirants and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only).Or

M.Sc

  • An aspirant can register themselves by submitting the application fees of Rs.300/- for (open category) and Rs.200/- for (reserved category).
  • An aspirant must have to submit DD of Rs.750/- (for open category) and Rs.500/- (for reserved category) in favour of “Registrar, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University”, payable at Amravati from any nationalized bank.
  • Aspirants have to fill the online application form and obtain the brochure which is available on University website.

MBA/PGDM

  • An aspirant can register themselves by submitting the entrance examination fee of amount Rs. 1000/- for (open category) and Rs. 800/- for (reserved category).
  • Aspirants can register Online by going to the DTE Maharashtra website and by clicking on new registration.
  • After that click on payment tab and proceed.
  • After that aspirant are advised to fill all the details cautiously and have to click on the final Submit Button.
  • After that before submission of the application form aspirants are advised to preview the entire form.
  • Finally, submit the form by click on the submit button.
  • The payment of entrance examination fee can be made using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.

MCA

  • The aspirant can register themselves by submitting the entrance examination fee of amount Rs. 1000/- for (open category) and Rs. 800/- for (reserved category).
  • An aspirant must send the application form and all the enclosures at the following address:

  • The admission will be strictly as per the merit on or before the commencement of academic session for Foreign Nationals/Foreign Students/Persons of Indian Origin/Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries.
  • The aspirant must pay fees in the form of DD drawn on “The Director, Technical Education” payable at Mumbai.
  • An aspirant can register themselves by submitting the procedures fee of Rs.750/- (for general category aspirants of Maharashtra state e, Outside Maharashtra State and J K Migrant aspirants).

MBA/PGDM

Selection of the Aspirant to the above mentioned MBA courses is done via state common entrance test.

MCA

  • Selection of the Aspirant to the above mentioned MCA courses is done via AIMCET i.e. (All India MCA Common Entrance Test).
  • Aspirants are applicable for the admission who has secured non zero non-negative marks in the MAH-MCA-CET 2016.Or
  • If the aspirant CET and HSC or equivalent examination marks scored are same, then the aspirant with a higher percentage of marks scored in the aggregate at the SSC (Std. X) or its equivalent examination will get preference.
  • An aspirant who has a secure equivalent score in AIMCET 2016 is applicable for admission.
  • If the aspirants score same marks in CET, then the aspirant with the higher percentage of aggregate marks at the HSC (Std. XII) or its equivalent examination will get preference.
