Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University (SBVU) is a medical college which was founded in 2001. The first batch of college was started in 2002 April. The university was recognized as a deemed university by University Grant Commission, New Delhi.

The University provides the following undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG); programmes in different branches:-

Undergraduate course:-

  • Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing)
  • B.Sc (in 6 branches)
  • MBBS
  • BDS

Postgraduate course:-

  • M.Sc. (Nursing)

Aspirants can get admission to the above-mentioned courses via SVBDUDCET common entrance test organized by the university.

The aspirant can register themselves to the above-mentioned MBBS courses by submitting the application fee of amount Rs. 1500/- by DD.

The aspirant can register themselves to the above mentioned BDS courses by submitting the application fee of amount Rs. 1000/- by DD.

The aspirant can register themselves to the above mentioned Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing)& M.Sc (Nursing) courses by submitting the application fee of amount Rs. 500/- by DD.

Eligibility
Bachelor of Medicine

  • The aspirant must have passed HSC with PCB with at least 50% aggregate marks with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and mathematics or any other elective subjects with English at a level not less than core course of English from this university or any other recognized university. Or
  • The aspirant must have done the intermediate examination in sciences of an Indian University/Board or other recognized examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Or
  • The aspirant must have pass pre-professional/pre-medical examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, after passing either the higher secondary school examination or the pre-university or an equivalent examination. Or
  • The aspirant must have a clear first year of three years degree course of a recognized university, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in three subjects and aspirant must pass 10+2 with English at a level not less than a core course.

Age limit Eligibility

The aspirant should complete 17 years of age on or before 31st December.

BDS

  • The aspirant must have passed HSC with PCB with at least 50% aggregate marks and 40% marks (for SC/ST/OBC) category aspirants from this university or any other recognized university.
  • The aspirant must also secure 50% marks and 40% (for SC/ST/OBC) category aspirants in the common entrance test.
  • The aspirant must also have taken English as one of the subjects.
  • The aspirant should complete 17 years of age on or before 31st December.

Age limit eligibility

The aspirant should complete 17 years of age as on 31st December and upper age limit is 35 years.

B.Sc

Programmes under B.Sc course:-

  1. Radiology and Imaging Technology
  2. Medical Lab Technology
  3. Optometry
  4. Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology
  5. Accident and Emergency Care Technology
  6. Critical Care Medicine

All the 6 courses mentioned above under B.Sc programme must have the same following eligibility criteria:-

Eligibility

The aspirant must have passed HSC with at least 40% marks with English, physics, chemistry, and biology as subjects from this university or any other recognized university.

B.Sc (Nursing)

  • The aspirant must possess diploma in nursing with a minimum period of three and half years from this university or any recognized university after completion of HSC or (10+2) equivalent.
  • The aspirant should be registered nurse and midwife with or without the experience of PHN in the hospital/ institutions after registration in state nursing council.

Post Basic Bachelor of Science [P.B.B.Sc] (Nursing)

  • The aspirant should be registered nurse and midwife with or without the experience of PHN in the hospital/ institutions after registration in state nursing council.
  • The aspirant must possess diploma in nursing with a minimum period of three and half years from this university or any recognized university after completion of HSC or (10+2) equivalent.

M.Sc (Nursing)

  1. Medical-Surgical Nursing
  2. Obstetric and Gynaecological Nursing
  3. Child Health Nursing
  4. Mental Health Nursing
  5. Community Health Nursing

All the 5 courses mentioned above under M.Sc programme must have the same following eligibility criteria:-

Eligibility

  • The aspirant should be registered nurse and registered midwife of any state nursing council with one year experience after graduation as on 31st July.
  • The aspirant must possess a degree in B.Sc (Nursing) from this university or any other recognized university with minimum 55% of aggregate marks and 50% marks for (SC/ST) aspirants.

Age limit eligibility

Aspirants age should be 17 years and above on 31st December. No upper age limit is prescribed
