RTMNU (Nagpur University) MCA, MBA Admission 2018

MCA and MBA are professional courses offered by the RTM Nagpur University (RTMNU), admission for which is made by state level common entrance test. Selection for MBA and MCA is done on the basis of marks scored by the aspirants in MAH MBA CET and MAH MCA CET respectively. Aspirants need to register on the website first and acquire a unique username and password to be used for filling the application form. Aspirants need to fill the details and upload their recent photograph and signature. Application for MBA and MCA is done via Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra.

Payment for the application form is to be made via a Debit card/Credit card/Net banking.The notification for admit card will be given by the examination cell to the aspirants on their given email id and phone number. The result for the examination will be displayed on the website on the basis of which, further selection will be made.

Eligibility Criteria for Nagpur University MCA, MBA Admission 2018

MCA

Duration: 2 years

Eligibility: Those aspirants who have done graduation in any stream with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category) from a recognised University are applicable for the MCA programme.

NOTE 1: Aspirants applying for the MCA programme need to be an Indian national. Aspirants should have studied mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduation level.

NOTE 2: Those aspirants who are aspiring to take direct admission to the second year of the programme need to have done BCA or B.Sc. in computer science or Information technology.

MBA/PGDM

Duration: 2 years

Eligibility: Aspirants need to have done graduation in any stream with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category) from a recognised university to be applicable to the MBA programme.


Application Procedure for RTMNU (Nagpur University) MCA, MBA Admission 2018

MBA/PGDM & MCA

  • Application for MCA programme is made online on www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in. Aspirants need to select the MCA option to apply for MCA programme and MBA programme in case of MBA course.
  • The photograph should be taken in the white background only. Once the payment is done an E-receipt will be generated.
  • The photograph and signature of aspirants are to be of a 50kb size, more than that is not acceptable.
  • After verifying all the details select the ‘FINAL SUBMIT’ option and then click on ‘Payment’ tab to make payment for the application form.
  • After registration aspirants should select the ‘Click here for New Registration’ option after which the application form will appear on the screen. Aspirants need to enter the details asked in the form after which a unique username and password will be generated which is to be kept for future uses. This username and password will be sent to an email and phone number given by the aspirants.
  • Payment for the application form can be made via Net banking/Debit card/Credit card.

For MCA:

Cost of application form for is INR 750 for aspirants belonging to outside Maharashtra, J&K migrants and open category aspirants of Maharashtra. Avoid red eye if using flash.

  • The signature should be done on white paper with black pen only.
  • Scan the signature in 200dpi (dots per inch)
  • NOTE: If signature and photograph don’t meet the above-mentioned criteria then application form will be considered incomplete.

    Points to remember before registration:

    • Aspirants should keep the scan copy of photograph and signature willing.
    • Aspirants should have a valid email ID and phone number which is to be registered for getting notifications.
    • Payment details should be kept along with the aspirants to make a quick payment.
    Whereas, cost of application form for reserved category aspirants is INR 550.

    For MBA:

    Cost of application form for is INR 1000 for aspirants belonging to outside Maharashtra, J&K migrants and open category aspirants of Maharashtra. Whereas, cost of application form for reserved category aspirants is INR 800.

    NOTE:

    • Non-generation of e-receipt indicates the failure of payment and aspirants are advised to log in with the username and password offered to them and again makes the payment.
    • Aspirants are advised to take the print out of e-receipt.

    User Facts:

    • After filling the application form, aspirants should select the ‘Save & Next’ option this will help to save the details of aspirants if in case they lose internet connection or they wish to make payment later.


    Admission Procedure for RTMNU MCA, MBA Admission 2018

    MCA & MBA/PGDM

    For MBA:

    Admission for MBA programme is done on the basis of MAH MBA CET 2018. Admission test for MBA will be organizeed in two sessions, first on March 12 and second on March 13. Allotment of test centre is done by the examination department considering the availability of the test centre.

    For MCA

    Selection for MCA is made on the basis of marks scored by the aspirants in MAH MCA CET. On the basis of marks scored in the MAH MBA CET, a merit list will be announced to select deserving aspirants.

    NOTE: It is not necessary that the test centre opted by aspirants will be allotted to them. Aspirants will have the facility to opt an examination centre according to their convenience. For MCA aspirants need to give two papers, one is of general aptitude and another is of computer concepts. A merit list will be announced on the basis of marks scored by the aspirants which will be the basis for selecting aspirant to MCA programme.

    Special instructions for disable aspirants:

    • Disable aspirants need to arrange a scribe by themselves at their own cost.
    • A compensatory time of 20 minutes is allotted after every one hour to disable aspirants.
    • One scribe cannot write the paper for two various disable aspirants.

    User facts:

    • In OMR sheet responses are to be made by darkening the bubbles with black ball pen only.
    • The OMR sheet will be available to aspirants on the website which can be accessed via their unique username and password.
