RTM Nagpur University Post Graduate Admission 2018

Admission to medical and dental courses offered by RTM Nagpur University (RTMNU) is organized by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research. DMER organizes PGM-CET (Post Graduation Medicine Common Entrance Test) for admission to MD, MS and M.Ch courses whereas PGD-CET (Post Graduation Dental Common Entrance Test) for MDS programme. Application for these exams is made via online mode on www.dmer.org where aspirants need to enter their details and get a username and password to be used in future.

The payment for application form i.e. INR 3000, is to be made via a bank challan alloted online after filling the details in application form. Bank challan can be submitted to any discipline of State Bank of India. The entrance test is organized on January 24, 2018 (tentative) and results are to be declared on January 27, 2018 (tentative). Aspirants have the privilege to register complaints to the examination authority if they find any issue in their OMR sheet. Once the issues are resolved by the authority, a final merit list will be declared which is to be considered for further admission procedure.

Eligibility: For MDS programme, aspirants need to have done MBBS/BDS from an institute recognized by the Medical Council of India.

Master of Chirurgiae [M.Ch] (Plastic Surgery)

Duration: 2 years

Eligibility: For M.Ch. the programme, aspirants need to have done MS from an institute recognized by the Medical Council of India.

Those applying for Post Graduate Degree Courses of the university may possess a graduate degree in relevant discipline. Those appearing in final year of their qualifying degree exams are also eligible for RTM Nagpur University Admission 2018.


Application Procedure

MD , MS & M.Ch

  • The application form for medicine courses is to be made online at www.dmer.org. On the site aspirants are need to select ‘Apply online for PGM CET-2018’. Their aspirants are supposed to fill the details asked in the application form. Aspirants also need to upload a recent photograph and signature to the application form.
  • During the registration procedure, aspirants will need to enter their valid email id and phone number which is to be used by the authority to offer notifications to the aspirants. The cost for application form is INR 3000 which is nonrefundable.

NOTE:

  1. All participants need to be Indian national.
  2. Aspirants should have done their one-year training till March 31,  2018 (tentative).

Important instructions for aspirants while uploading the application form:

For photograph:

  1. Photograph should be either in .jpg pattern or .jpeg pattern.
  2. Size of the photograph should be less than 35kb.
  3. Height and width of the photograph must be 250 pixels to 320 pixels and 150 pixels to 220 pixels respectively.
  4. Background of the photograph should be light-colored, preferably white.

For signature:

  1. Size of the photograph should be less than 30kb.
  2. Height and width of the photograph must be 100 pixels to 180 pixels and 150 pixels to 220 pixels respectively.
  3. The signature should be made on the white sheet of paper with black ink.

User facts:

  • Aspirants are supposed to keep a print out of application form.
  • Username and password generated while filling the application form are to be kept by the aspirants for future use.
  • Aspirants are suggested to revise their application form after submission to accurate errors if any.
  • If there is any mistake in the application form then there is no provision to accurate it after submission.

Collection of Admit card:

Aspirants need to visit www.dmer.org and download the hall ticket after login with their unique username and password. Payment of application fee via e-challan is to be made in any discipline of State Bank of India. After filling the application form an e-challan will be generated which can to be used for paying the application form fee. Aspirants need to visit the examination center with the hall ticket and a valid photo ID proof.

Admission Procedure

MD , MS & M.Ch

For admission to MD, MS, and M.Ch. aspirants need to appear in the PGM-CET and for MDS aspirants are need to appear for PGD-CET.

PGM-CET :

The test for PGM-CET is of 3 hours 30 minutes containing 300 multiple choice questions. Students will be honored with one mark for each accurate response and there will be no negative marking.

For PGD-CED:

The test for PGM-CET is of 1 hour 30 minutes containing 100 multiple choice questions. Students will be honored with one mark for each accurate response and there will be no negative marking. The test format is based upon the course taught on graduation level. The test format is based upon the course taught on graduation level.

Documents to be submitted along with the application form:

Marks sheet of class 10th & 12th

12th standard certificate (for age confirmation)

Marks sheet and certificate of qualifying exam (as applicable according to courses)

NOTE:

The venue for entrance test shall be offered in Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, and Aurangabad.

  • If aspirants have any query regarding the evaluation then, they can submit an objection for the same on www.dmer.org form January 27, 2018 (tentative) to February 2, 2018 (tentative).
  • Question paper booklet along with the response key will be made available on www.dmer.org from January 27, 2018 (tentative).
