Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha is a deemed university which was founded in 1956. The university was certified under UGC Act of section 3 in the field of higher learning in Sanskrit studies, Traditional Sastras and Sanskrit Teacher Education. It is also re-accredited by NAAC with A grade.

University provides different undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and Research; programmes in following different branches:

Under graduate course:

  • Siksha Sastri (B.Ed.)

Postgraduate course:

  • Siksha Acharya (M.Ed.)

Research course:

  • Vidyavaridhi (Ph.D.)

The aspirant can get admission to the Siksha Sastri (B.Ed.) course via CSSET-2016 entrance test, in Siksha Acharya (M.Ed.) course via CSAET entrance test and in Ph.D course via CVVET and interview organizeed by the university.

Aspirants can register themselves to the above mentioned Under Graduate course by submitting the application fee along with DD of amount Rs. 200/-.

Aspirants can register themselves for the above mentioned Post Graduate & Research course by submitting the application fee via DD of amount Rs. 1000/-.

Siksha Sastri (B.Ed.):-

Eligibility

  • Aspirants who are appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply.
  • Aspirants must have passed Sastri / BA (Sanskrit) or equivalent in a 10+2+3 format with at least 50% marks or pass 2 years Sastri / BA (Sanskrit) or equivalent with 50% marks or pass one-year bridge course/ setu or one-year aharaya/ MA (Sanskrit) with 50% marks.
  • 5% relaxation will be given to SC/ST aspirants.

Age limit eligibility

Aspirant age should be at least 20 years in October 2018.


How To Apply for RSV Ph.D and M.Ed Admissions 2018

B.Ed & M.Ed

For Siksha Sastri (B.Ed.) course

  • Aspirants can also obtain the application form by post after submitting the amount of Rs. 250/- by DD in favour of The Registrar, R.S.Vidyapeetha, Tirupati payable at Tirupati
  • Aspirants can download application form and prospectus from university website “http://rsvidyapeetha.ac.in”
  • Aspirants have to submit their filled in application form along with prospectus in person by DD of amount Rs. 200 from any Nationalised bank drawn in favour of The Registrar, R.S.Vidyapeetha, Tirupati payable at Tirupati or challan in the Andhra Bank, R.S.Vidyapeetha discipline, Tirupati
  • Incomplete applications received after the due date will be rejected
  • The aspirant must attend the interview with original documents and 3 sets of photocopies of documents on specified date and time.
  • Aspirant admission will be confirmed after the interview and written test organizeed by the university.
  • Aspirants must bring the following original documents at the time of interview which is as below:
  • If the aspirant is not current physically, the aspirant will lose their seat.
  1. Provisional/pass certificate of the last qualifying examination for admission.
  2. Marks obtained in each examination right from Matriculation/SSC/OSLC to the last qualifying examination.
  3. Transfer certificate
  4. Study certificate
  5. Date of birth certificate

  10. Passport size photos -5+1 stamp size

For Post Graduate & Research:

  • Aspirants can download the application form from the website “http://rsvidyapeetha.ac.in” and send it along with DD of amount Rs. 1000/- at New Delhi.
  • Aspirants have to submit their filled in application form in person by DD of amount Rs. 1000 in favour of an authorized person as decided by exam organizing body.
  • Incomplete applications received after the due date will be rejected.
  • Aspirants can also obtain application form by post after submitting the amount of Rs. 1050/- by DD in favour of an authorized person as decided by exam organizing body.

Admission Procedure of RSV (Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha) Ph.D and M.Ed Admissions 2018

B.Ed & M.Ed

  • Selection of the aspirants to the Siksha Sastri (B.Ed.) course based on CSSET-2018 entrance test.
  • Selection of the aspirants to the Siksha Acharya (M.Ed.) and Vidyavaridhi (Ph.D.) courses is carried via CSAET 2016 entrance test and CVVET-2016 entrance test respectively.


Reservation of RSV (Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha) Ph.D and M.Ed Admissions 2018

Reservation of seats in the university is as per the existing norms of UGC or by the government of India. Seat reservation in different categories are as follows:-

  • 27% seats are reserved for the OBC category aspirants.
  • 15% seats are reserved for the SC aspirants and 7½% seats are reserved for the ST category aspirants.
  • 3% seats are reserved for the person with a disability and few seats are also reserved for the children of the employees of the Vidyapeetha

Scholarship

  • The scholarship will be given only for 10 months in a year.
  • 25 students from Prak-Sastri, 5 from each Sastra at Sastri level and 10 from each Sastra at Acharya level will be honoured Scholarship as per rules
  • Aspirant will get scholarship on the basis of their percentage of marks in the last qualifying examination.

Hostel

  • University offers 4 hostels for men aspirants and separate 3 hostels for research aspirants
  • University also offers separate hostel for women aspirant.
