RGUHS (Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science) was founded on 1st June 1996 at Bangalore by Govt. It comprises all the health science colleges and institutions in Karnataka with a purpose of ensuring proper and systematic instruction, teaching, training, and research in modern and Indians systems of medicine. of Karnataka. All those Aspirants waiting for the Exam Date Sheet of RGUHS, they can check our this publication which contains all the details related to the exam date sheet. The University has released the timetable of  MBBS, MD/MS, B.Sc, M.Sc, BDS, BAMS, B. Pharm, M. Pharm, BPT, MPT at the official website of  RGUHS. The University has made official confirmation about the exam time table which will hold semester wise. 

University provides different courses having course level postgraduate (PG) programmes in these course levels are discussed as following in different branches:

Postgraduate courses:

  • M.Sc. in allied health science
  • M.Sc. nursing  
  • M. Pharm.
  • Pharm.D.
  • MPT

Admission to the above-mentioned programmes is via merit in the qualifying examination or entrance test.

Aspirants can register themselves by submitting examination fees of Rs.3000/- for GC and OBC category. For SC/ST aspirants of Karnataka, examination fees are Rs.750.

M.Sc

Courses provided:

Programmes under M.Sc. in allied health science are as follows:

  1. Clinical Biochemistry
  2. Microbiology & Immunology
  3. Hematology & Blood Transfusion

Eligibility criteria of courses mentioned above are given below:

Eligibility

  • Aspirants must have passed B.Sc. MLT Course from Institutions affiliated to RGUHS.
  • Aspirants must have passed B.Sc. MLT Course from other universities or equivalent by affiliated to RGUHS.

 

M.Sc (Nursing)

Eligibility

  • Aspirants should not have attained the age of 45 years on the last date fixed for submission of an application to Post Graduate Degree Entrance Test.
  • Aspirants should have born in Karnataka state.
  • Aspirants must possess a degree in B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) or B.Sc. Hons. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. with minimum 55% aggregate marks for GC aspirant and 50% marks for SC/ST aspirants.
  • Aspirants must possess minimum one year of experience after B.Sc. nursing in hospital or nursing institution.
  • Aspirants should be an Indian citizen.

M.Pharm 

Programmes under M. Pharm. Are as follows:

  3. Pharmacology
  4. Pharmacognosy

Eligibility criteria for the above-mentioned courses are as follows:

Eligibility

  • Aspirants must possess a degree in B.
  • Aspirants should be an Indian citizen.
  • Aspirants should have born in Karnataka state.

Master of Physiotherapy(MPT)

Eligibility

  • Aspirants should not have attained the age of 45 years on the last date fixed for submission of an application to Post Graduate Degree Entrance Test.
  • Aspirants’ birthplace should be Karnataka.
  • Aspirants should be citizens of India.
  • Aspirants who have finished internship on or before submission of the last date of application.
  • The aspirant must possess a degree in B.Sc. (PT) or BPT from this university or any other recognized university with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Pharm.D

Eligibility

  • Aspirants should have born in Karnataka state.
  • Aspirants who have finished industrial training are qualified for Entrance Test.
  • Aspirants should not have attained the age of 45 years on the last date fixed for submission of an application to Post Graduate Degree Entrance Test.
  • Aspirants must possess a degree in B. Pharm. from RGUHS/ PCI/ AICTE institute with minimum 55% aggregate marks for GC aspirant and 50% marks for SC/ST aspirants.
  • Aspirants should be the Indian citizen.

Application Procedure

M.Pharm, M.Sc (Nursing) & M.Sc

  1. Aspirants can download the application form online from the university website “www.rguhs.ac.in”.
  2. Aspirants can submit the filled application form in person or by post by submitting the amount of Rs. 3000/- for general category aspirants and Rs. 750/- for SC/ST category aspirants.
  3. Aspirants must send the attested documents to the following address:

Aspirants have to submit photocopies of all the documents attested by Gazetted Officer along with the filled application form.

Enclosures:

  1. S.S.L.C. Marks Card (For age proof and parent’s name).
  2. Birth Certificate/Cumulative Record/any other certificate for proof of place of birth.
  3. B.Sc. (Nursing)/PC B.Sc. (Nursing)/B. B.Sc. (Nursing), PC B.Sc. Nursing / B. Pharm./BPT Marks Card of all Phases/Years.
  4. Degree Certificate allowed by the University
  5. Attempt Certificate allowed by the Principal of the related college
  6. Mandatory Rotatory Internship/Industrial Training Completion
  7. Council/Board Registration Certificate. / BPT.
  8. Professional Experience certificate in case of Nursing
  9. Domicile Certificate allowed by the Tahasildar of Karnataka or Study Certificate from 1st to 10th Standard.
  10. Valid Income & Category Certificate obtained from the related Tahasildar of Karnataka, if reservation is claimed.
  11. Disability Certificate if claimed under Physically Handicapped quota
  12. Probationary declaration certificate (for in-service aspirants)
  13. A certificate under article 371-J for claiming HK region reservation allowed by the competent authority.

Enclosures for M.Sc.:

  1. Degree certificate allowed by the university.
  2. Marks cards of all the university examinations passed.
  3. Migration certificate.
  4. Certificate of organizing.
  5. Proof of SC/ST or category

Selection Procedure

M.Pharm, M.Sc (Nursing) & M.Sc

  • The aspirant should be an Indian citizen.
  • Selection of the aspirants will be based on the merit in the qualifying examination or interview organized by the university admission committee.
