Punjabi University is a public university situated in Patiala, Punjab, India. The University has 20 regional Centers and Affiliated Colleges. It was founded on the 30 April 1962. It is the second university in the world to be named after a language, after the Hebrew University of Israel.

Punjabi University has 55 teaching and research departments running under its umbrella. It provides admission to UG, PG, Advanced PG, Ph.D., Diploma and Certificate courses.

MBA (Master of Business Administration) provided by Punjabi University is two years full-time program. Registration for MBA is done in online as well as offline mode. Aspirants required to submit the application form on the official website of the university i.e. www.punjabiuniversity.ac.in. The registration fee is INR 3500.

The selection procedure consists of an entrance test followed by group discussion. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of aspirant’s performance in both rounds.

Punjabi University MBA Eligibility 

To be qualified for admission to MBA program in Punjabi University, aspirants have to fulfill the complete eligibility criteria mentioned below:

  • Participants must have done Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university or institute.
  • There is the relaxation of 5% marks for reserved category aspirants (SC/ ST). 

Punjabi University MBA Application Procedure

Online method

Applicants who want to apply can submit the application form on the official website of the university i.e. www.punjabiuniversity.ac.in.

Applications received after the due date will not be accepted.

Aspirants have to pay an application fee of INR 3500 at the time of registration Procedure. The application fee can be paid in online method via net banking, credit card, and debit card.

How to Apply Online?

  • Visit the official Website
  • Click on the admission link
  • Register by using your email id and password
  • Login after the confirmation of email
  • Enter the details asked in the application form
  • Upload the signature and photograph in jpeg format
  • Image size should not be more than 50 kb
  • Save the application form
  • Pay the application fee by either of the available methods
  • Take the print out of application form for future reference

Offline method

Duly filled application form along with the DD of INR 3500 send it to prescribed address.

Mention a valid email address or contact number on the application form.

All the information which is mentioned on the application form should be correct and verified with original documents.

Admit Card

Aspirants who have successfully submitted their application form can download the Admit card from the university website. Aspirants are advised to verify all the information which is mentioned on the admit card like Name, DOB, Roll number etc.

Aspirants have to present they admit card at the examination center. Else they cannot enter the exam center.

In case Aspirants are facing any problem while downloading the admit card, they can obtain the admit card from the centralized admission cell a day before of entrance test.

Punjabi University MBA Selection Procedure

The selection is done on the basis of entrance test and group discussion. Aspirants who will successfully qualify both rounds of selection Procedure will be considered for admission Procedure.

  • Applicants found suitable for admission will be called for the entrance test.
  • Aspirants must score at least 40% marks in an entrance test to be eligible for admission (For SC/ ST 35%).
  • Qualified Aspirants will be called for second round of selection Procedure i.e. Group Discussion.
  • Shortlisted Aspirants on the basis of their performance in GD round will go for admission Procedure.

Pattern and Syllabus of Entrance test

  • The paper is held in offline method (pen and paper-based).
  • The question paper consists of 100 MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions).
  • Aspirants have to attempt all the questions in two hours.
  • Participants establish appropriate for admission will be called for an entrance test.
  • There is no negative marking.
