The admission to the courses is via the PESSAT (PES University Scholastic Aptitude Test) 2016 which will be organizeed in May for B.Tech. The test is organizeed online at an all-India level. course.

B.Tech. Programme
Eligibility:
You should have secured minimum 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th standard or equivalent from any recognized board.
B.Des
Eligibility:
You should have secured minimum 60% marks in any stream in 12th standard or equivalent from any recognized board.
BBA/BBM
You should have secured minimum 60% marks in any stream in 12th standard or equivalent from any recognized board.
ME/M.Tech
M.Tech Programs :

You should have a BE or B.Tech. degree in the relevant field as per the course you are applying for.
M.Des
You should have either of the following qualifications:
You should have a Bachelor’s degree from any recognized University.

Step 1: You required to fill in the details asked in the registration page about the choice of course, and other individual details.
Step 2: Enter the details of the qualifying exam and select the test centre preferences. After this, click the “submit” tab.
Step 3: Upload your recent passport size photograph of 150 x 150 pixels dimensions which should be less than 80 kb in either .jpg or .gif forms.
Step 4: Make payment for the PESSAT Application fees of Rs. 975 via any of the following modes:

You will be selected on the basis of the rank obtained in the PESSAT (PES University Scholastic Aptitude Test).
The test is organizeed online on an All-India level. The test will be organizeed only at PES University campus in Bangalore.
Section 1 will have questions from Mathematics (60 questions), Physics (60 questions) and Chemistry (40 questions) based on class 11th and 12th CBSE standard. Programme: PESSAT for engineering admissions will be organizeed at different test centres situated all over the country.
For other courses: You will be selected on the basis of your score in the PESSAT exam as well your performance in the Individual Interview. You can take the test on Wednesdays and Saturdays every week starting from 4th January 2016 by booking your slots online. Section 2 will consist of 20 questions from English Grammar. There is no negative marking. It will be of a period of 3 hours. It will contain two sections.
