NOU (North Orissa University) is a public university which was founded on 13 July 1998. University offers higher education via the on campus as well as distance education mode. The university is certified by NAAC with B grade.
The university conducts a range of ug and pg courses in several domains. Various professional courses have been introduced in distance learning mode to generate additional resources keeping in view the recent trends in the Indian industry. Students availing correspondence courses can get education via Study Centers. Applicants for the PhD must have Master’s Degree in the relevant subject from any recognized University with minimum 48% of marks or equivalent grade.
Aspirants can get admission to the above mentioned all the courses via OJEE entrance examination organized by the university. Aspirants can register themselves to the above mentioned MBA & MCA courses by submitting the application fee of Rs. 1000/-.

The aspirant must possess the bachelor's degree in any stream of 3 years period from this university or any other recognized university with 50% marks (for general category) and 45% marks (for SC/ST category aspirants)
The aspirant must have passed mathematics at 12th or graduation level from this university or any other recognized university with 50% marks (for general category) and 45% marks (for SC/ST category aspirants)
The aspirant must possess graduation degree in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy examination of minimum four/five year’s period in any branch from this university or any other recognized university with 50% marks (for general candidates) and 45% marks (for SC/ST category aspirants).
MBA/PGDM & MCA
Aspirants can apply online and must have to download the Information Brochure from the University website.
After that aspirant must have to fill their personal details and upload his/her photograph, Full Signature, and left thumb impression
Aspirants can register themselves to the above mentioned MBA & MCA courses by submitting the application fee of Rs. 1000/-.
Aspirants must have to pay the fee by Debit Card/credit card (VISA / MASTER / Maestro cards/internet banking). Or via e-Challan by deposit in OJEE Bank Account with State Bank of India.
Aspirants can submit only one application form and application fees once paid is non-refundable.
Aspirants are recommended to take the printout of application form and confirmation page.
Aspirants admission may be canceled at any time if certificates/ mark sheets/ other documents are established to be forged.
Payment of Fee Process:
The Centre Co-ordinators are required to deposit the application fee of Rs. 400/-, Corpus Fund of Rs. 250/-, course fee, examination fee of Rs. 1000/- and the cost of the study materials (for MBA, MCA, PGDCA, MA in Education, B.A. (Pass) and B.Com. (Pass) Aspirants as fixed by DDCE from time to time) in respect of each aspirant admitted to the University. The grand total amount shall be paid by the center in the form of a Bank Draft drawn in favor of Comptroller of Finance, North Orissa University, in any nationalized bank payable at Baripada

Selection of the aspirants to the above mentioned all the course is done on the basis of merit in the OJEE entrance examination organized by the university.
Hostel: University offers separate hostels accommodation for boys and girls in the University campus.
Scholarship: Aspirant will get scholarship honored by the State Government on the result of +2 and +3 examination
30% seats in all courses will be reserved for the women aspirants.
8% seats will be reserved for the SC category aspirants and 12% seats will be reserved for the ST category aspirants.
5% seats will be reserved for the general category aspirants and 3% seats will be reserved for the PC/PwD i.e. (Physically Challenged or Person with Disability) aspirants.
