Aspirants can register themselves to the above mentioned research courses by submitting finished applications along with the registration fee amount of Rs. 1200/- and admission fee amount of Rs. 1000/-Within the stipulated time.

Eligibility:

  • The aspirant must possess master’s degree in Arts, Commerce, Law, Science, Engineering, Technology, pharmacy or any other branch of this university or any other recognised university.
  • Aspirants who possess M.Phil degree are also applicable to apply for the programme
  • Aspirants who have been honored research fellowship by DBT / DST / CSIR / UGC or any other Government recognised funding agency are also applicable to apply
  • Foreign aspirants need to produce competence from the Government of India and/or other suitable authorities before applying for admission

NBU Ph.D. Admissions 2018 How To Apply

M.Phil/ Ph.D. in Law & M.Phil/ Ph.D. in Science

  • Aspirants can download the application form available at the university website accompanied by the crossed bank draft of Rs. 200/- and Rs. 100 (for SC/ST/OBC/PH category aspirants) drawn in favor of "the University of North Bengal" and payable at State Bank of India, NBU Campus Discipline, Siliguri
  • Aspirants should register themselves to the Ph.D. programme by submitting the registration fee amount of Rs. 1200/- and admission fee of amount Rs. 1000/- via online payment modes such as net banking, credit card and ATM cum debit card.
  • Aspirants can also obtain the application form from the office of the undersigned upon payment of Rs.100/- and Rs. 25/- (for SC/ ST/ BC/ PH aspirants) at the university cash counter
  • The aspirant must send the filled-in application form along with two copies of the recent passport size photograph and other documents at the following address:
