North Maharashtra University (NMU)founded in 1990 is situated in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. Out of these, 1 college is recognised as College of Excellence5 colleges have been identified as College with Potential for Excellence. There are 220 affiliated colleges and 4 University recognised Research Institutes/Centres under the jurisdiction of University. It has been honored 'A' Grade by NAAC.

The University has been honored 1st position in Maharashtra State and 40th position among 620 universities in India by the India Today survey of 2013. The University has successfully adopted the ‘School Concept’ with academic flexibility for the optimal use of infrastructure and resources. There are 13 Schools and 01 Institute imparting education in different undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. Programmes.

The University invites Applications for admission to the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) programme in different branches for the academic year 2018-19. The programme is for a period of 4 years or 8 semesters. The application for the same should be submitted by March 22, 2018 (tentative).  The admission to the programme is based on the MHT-CET (Common Entrance Test) 2018 to be held on May 5, 2018 (tentative).

NMU B.Tech. Admissions 2018 Eligibility Criteria

BE/B.Tech

The University provides B.Tech. Programme in the following branches:

  • B. Tech (Paint Technology)
  • B. Tech (Chemical Engineering)
  • B. Tech (Polymer & Plastic Technology)
  • B. Tech (Oils, Fats & Waxes Technology)
  • B. Tech (Food Technology)

Eligibility

You should have passed/appearing at the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/12th Standard examination or its equivalent examination with an at least of 50% marks in aggregate for general category and 45% marks for reserved category.

Nationality: You should be an Indian national only.

NMU B.Tech. Admissions 2018 How to apply?

BE/B.Tech

Step 1: You should register for MHT-CET online on the official website. You will find the Application under the “MHT-CET-2018  Registration” link.

Step 2: You should fill in the Application form with the individual details with a valid email id, mobile No. and a password on the first login.

Step 3: You should upload a recent color passport size photograph and signature in JPEG pattern only. Scan the signature in 200 dpi (dots per inch) scanner resolution settings. The file size of each of them should not be more than 50 KB per file. The file name of Photograph and signature should preferably be photo.jpeg and sign.jpeg respectively. The picture should be taken against a light/white background. The signature should be on a white paper with a black ink pen.

Step 4: You must then download and print the MHT-CET bank challan on an A4 size paper on a single page.

This clears the registration procedure. Make the payment via the Bank Challan from any discipline of SBI Bank for:

  • Rs 600.00 + Rs 60.00 Bank Commission - Reservation Category Aspirants
  • Rs 800.00 + Rs 60.00 Bank Commission - Open Aspirants

Step 5: You should log in to MHT-CET-2018 registration using your MHT-CET-2018 Registration No and password after 24 hours of making the payment and confirm if the Bank transaction ID No. and date of payment have been updated. This completes the registration process You should take a print out of the Registration Confirmation page.

NMU B.Tech. Admissions 2018 Reservation Criteria

Reservation is available only to an aspirant belonging to backward class from Maharashtra state.
