Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) is a private university situated in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. NMIMS has also been honored an "A***" rating by CRISIL. It has been honored "Five Star" rating and "A" grade by the NAAC and UGC respectively. The institute was founded in 1981. The institute was granted "Deemed University" status by the UGC in 2003 and can hence award full academic degrees to its students. It has more than 12000 students and 450 full-time faculty members are part of India's most sought-after academic community i.e. NMIMS.
Balseeking Sheth School of Architecture, NMIMS provides a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) Programme, under the five years degree program which is recognised by the Council of Architecture. It would comprise a holistic exposure and understanding via Art, History, Technology, Architectural Design, and Construction procedure. It will involve spending 15 to 18 weeks internship in Architectural, Planning and Construction Firms. The number of available seats for the programme is 40 seats.
The University invites applications for admission to the B.Arch. Programme for the academic year 2016-17 for the 40 seats available. The application procedure for both the exam and the University are available online. The admission will take place via the NATA 2016 Examination organized by the Council of Architecture.

You must have passed the 10+2 exam or any other equivalent exam or IB Diploma on a regular basis, in the first attempt with English and Maths as mandatory subjects obtaining at least 50% aggregate.
If you are awaiting your 10+2 exam result, you may also apply.
For NATA:
You should register on the NATA website with a valid email ID. Recruitments for the exam are scheduled on a first-come, first-cater basis. You will then be directed to the payment gateway.
Application Fee: You should pay the registration fee of Rs. 1600 (non-refundable) by Credit Card or Debit Card.

Your registration is now clear.
For Admission to NMIMS:
You should register yourself online on the official website.
You should then fill in the need individual and education details as need.
You do not have to clear the online form in one sitting. You can clear it in multiple settings, the convenient “auto-save” option keeps your work saved regularly.
Once you have finished the form, you should click on the “Submit” button. You should register well in advance to get your preferred test date.

Application Fee: You should pay the Application fee of Rs. 1250 either via credit card/debit card / net banking or you can generate the challan for depositing the payment via cash in any of the disciplines of the ICICI Bank all over India.

You should select your preferred test center from the given list.
You must then submit the Application online only.
You will be selected on the basis of National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2016 organized by the Council of Architecture. You must be able to secure 40% score in NATA, i.e. minimum 80/200.
The test is in two parts, a paper-based drawing test, and computer based online aesthetic sensitivity test. The aesthetic sensitivity test measures perception, imagination, and observation, creativity and communication along with architectural awareness

The primary emphasis in scoring the drawing section is on your drawing, imagination and observation skills. Your sense of proportion & perspective is also evaluated together with the sense of color and composition.
Aesthetic Sensitivity Test: This is computer-based test where you have to response 40 multiple choice questions. The test measures your aptitude via two sections - a paper-based section for drawing and the computer-based section for aesthetic sensitivity.
Drawing Section: This is a two-hour paper where you have to attempt three questions.
The reservation criteria will be as per the norms prescribed by the Government of India.
