NLUO (National Law University, Odisha) is a public University imparting professional law education, research, and training. The university provides admission to the following law programmes:  The university is founded in 2009 and has two campuses.

  • LL.M(Master of Law)

Only aspirants with the relevant qualification can register for the above-mentioned programmes. Seats are reserved for people belonging to various categories such as SC/ST/BC etc. as well as special categories viz. Differently-abled, women etc.

Aspirants can register for admission by filling in the application form and submitting the need procedure fee, on or before March 31, 2018 (tentative). Admission to the above programmes is done on the basis of marks secured by the aspirants in the CLAT-2018.

Eligibility:

  • The aspirant has to qualify CLAT-2018
  • The aspirant should have passed LLB/any equivalent examination with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC / ST and persons with disability).

Step To Apply

LLM

Aspirants must apply for admission by filling and submitting a finished application before March 31, 2018 (tentative). All fields in the application form should be correctly and completely filled-in with the relevant information.

The aspirant should log on to the university website and follow the given steps:

  1. Download and take the printout of  the application form
  2. Fill the application form manually with the necessary information
  3. Enclose the application form with the important documents
  4. Pay the application fee through demand draft drawn in favor of the Registrar, NLUO payable at Cuttack
  5. The aspirant shall send the application form along with the necessary enclosures to the  Registrar, NLUO, Kathajodi campus, sector 13 CDA, Cuttack-753015 Odhissa on or before March 31, 2018 (tentative).
  6. The aspirant must keep the Xerox copy of the finished applications for subsequent use

The aspirant must send the photo affixed and duly signed the application and the following copies of following documents.

  1. Transfer Certificate   
  2. HSC/CBSE/other equivalent mark sheet
  3. LLB/equivalent certificate
  4. Community Certificate (For OC aspirants community certificate not need)   
  5. Certificates for Special categories, if need     
  6. Nativity Certificate if need   
  7.  Date of Birth Certificate (SSC / ICSE / CBSE).
  8. Medical certificate
  9. Rank Card of CLAT-2018

Important Note:

Application fee: Rs. 1500/-

Admission Procedure

Aspirants will be selected for the integrated programmes on the basis of their merit in CLAT-2018 followed by the counseling.
