National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) was founded by the Government of India in 1963. It provides a range of PGDM programs like PGDIE, PGDIM, PGDISEM which are AICTE approved. Institute started off as an Industrial Engineering institute but now also provides full-time Fellow Program in Management/ Fellow Program in Industrial Engineering, PG programs in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, Industrial Safety and Environmental Management, Manufacturing Management, and Project Management.

University provides Post Graduate level courses such as Post-Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management (PGDIM) and Post-Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety and Environmental Management (PGDISEM).

  • Indian and SAARC aspirants must pay INR 1000 whereas International aspirants must pay USD 50
  • The basic eligibility need is that aspirant must be full-time graduate with 60% aggregate marks
  • The registration begins by the First week of November and lasts till the Second week of January.
  • The seat intake of PGDIM course is 274 and that of PGDISEM is 39 seats
  • Firstly aspirants will be shortlisted on basis of CAT/GMAT score and further called for Group discussion and Individual Interview
  • The application fee must be paid via online mode
  • Both PGDIM and PGDISEM are two year full-time courses.
  • The application procedure is clearly online
  • Indian aspirants must have a valid GATE score whereas International aspirants must have valid GMAT Score

NITIE Mumbai Eligibility Criteria for PGDIM & PGDISEM Program

MBA/PGDM

Aspirants must fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by the university, to seek admission to NITIE Post Graduate courses. the eligibility criteria are as follows:

For Indian Aspirants

  • Aspirants appearing for the final year of Engineering/ technology can also apply
  • The aspirant must have an aggregate of 60% marks and a valid CAT Score
  • The aspirant must be graduate  in any of the disciplines of engineering or technology
  • In case of SC/ST/PwD aspirants, aggregate marks are relaxed by 5%

For International Aspirants

Aspirants must be full-time graduate in any discipline of Engineering/ Technology with 60% aggregate marks. The aspirant must have a valid test of English as a foreign language (TOEFL) score or The International English Testing Service (IELTS) score. A valid GMAT score is also required.

NITIE Mumbai Application Form for PGDIM & PGDISEM Program

MBA/PGDM

Aspirants can register online on the official website. The registration window closes by the second week of January 2018. The steps of the application process are as follows:

  • Preview the clear filled up application form and submit it
  • Visit the official website
  • Login with the login credentials and fill up the application form
  • Upload scanned copies of photograph and signature
  • A registration window opens and aspirants required to register themselves
  • After registration, a unique user ID and password will be sent to registered mobile no and Email
  • A new window appears depicting ‘Apply Online’ link, click it
  • Click on ‘Admissions’ tab and further on ‘Post Graduate Admission’

Application Fee

Application fee of INR 1000 for Indian aspirants and SAARC country aspirants and INR 500 in case of SC/ST/PwD aspirants. For International aspirants, USD 50 required being paid.

Note: Extra bank charges also prevail

The application fee will be paid via the online method such as credit card, debit card or net banking.

NITIE Mumbai PGDIM PGDISEM Selection Procedure for PGDIM & PGDISEM Program

MBA/PGDM

Aspirants will be judged on three aspects which are

  • Individual Interview
  • Scores in CAT or GMAT examination
  • Group Discussion

Firstly, aspirants will be shortlisted on basis of their CAT/GMAT scores. Shortlisted aspirants will be called for Group discussion and Individual interview.
