National Law Institute University (NLIU) is a law school and center for research situated in Bhopal, India. University is the member of AIU. It is one of the first three law schools founded under the national law system. It was founded in 1997.

University offers different courses under research course level which are as following:

Research courses

  • Ph.D. (in 3 branches) – 2 years

Aspirants can get admission to the above-mentioned courses via written test and interview organized by the university.

All the 3 courses mentioned above under Ph.D. programme must have the same following eligibility criteria:

  • The aspirant must possess LLM degree from this university or any other recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks.

Step to Apply

  • Aspirants can obtain the application form by paying the Cost of application form is Rs.1500/-.
  • Aspirants must have to pay the fees via DD drawn in favor of the Director, the National Law Institute University, payable at Bhopal
  • Aspirants have to send the filled in application form via speed post only along with the enclosures at the following address:
