National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM) Is Currently located in the Oxford of the East in Pune, Maharashtra. NIBM was incepted in the year 1969 by the Reserve Bank of India, in consultation with the Government of India, within an autonomous apex association for study, training, consultancy and education in bank management. The vision of this institute is to take banking business in the pinnacle of the sky and making business more profitable for state growth. Institute welcomes article graduate programme in Banking & Finance. National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM) is recognized as a scientific and Industrial Research Organization by Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. The mission of this institute would be to helping supervisors in their endeavor to create their organizations competitive both in national and global markets.

National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM) offers Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Banking and Financial Services. Candidates are required to apply separately to the institute with their required course preferences as soon as the registration process for admission begins, which will be mentioned on the college website. Applications can be submitted online. NIBM requires applicants to obtain the adequate cut-off score (as set by the institute) in one of the tests approved by the institute like the MAT or CAT conducted by IIMs or CMAT conducted by AICTE.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants are required to appear Common Admission Test (CAT) / MAT/CMAT. National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM) will use scores of CAT 2017 / MAT (February 2018) / CMAT (2018) for short-listing candidates for Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview. 
  • The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA From Recognized University.
  • Candidates appearing for the nal year of Bachelor's Degree/equivalent qualication examination and those who have completed degree requirement and are awaiting results can also apply.

How to Apply?

The candidates will have to apply separately at NIBM, PUNE. The institute will accept only online Application. The process of filling up forms for seeking admission at NIBM will remain open from Sep 15, 2017 to March 20, 2018. The Candidates pay Application Fee can be paid through online transactions using Credit / Debit / ATM cards / Online Banking.

  • Candidates have to go the National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM) website: http://pgdm.nibmindia.org/
  • Click on the Admission Dropdown "Apply Online" on the home page.
  • Then Click " Apply Now" of the page.
  • Read all Information given in open page and then click "Apply Now"
  • To start Registration click on the Create an Account.
  • Please note you will have to register using email ID and mobile number. You will receive an email on the registered email id with the Login ID and Password, for further use.
  • The applicant should furnish all the details while filling the Online Application Form. After successful submission of the data, an application number will be generated and this can be used to complete the remaining steps of the application form.
  • Pay the admission fee as directed. Online payment mode via Debit/Credit card can be done. Will be worth Rs. 1500 exclusive service charges.
  • Please take a print out of the filled application form for future reference

Admission Process

Candidates seeking admission to the PGDM (B&FS) of NIBM should appear for CAT 2017/ ATMA (February 2018)/ CMAT (2018). Candidates short-listed on the basis of CAT 2017/ ATMA (February 2018)/ CMAT (2018) scores will be called for Writing Ability Test and Interview during April 2018 in select centers. Shortlisted applicants may have to take the additional written test if required at the later stage.
