MUHS (Maharashtra University of Health Sciences) MBBS and BDS Admission 2018

Maharashtra University of Health Sciences offers MBBS, BDS, B.Sc. nursing and BASLP courses for which admission is organizeed via MHT-CET. Once aspirants will fill the application form they will be offered with a unique username and password which will be helpful for future use. Aspirants need to fill the application form online on www.dmer.org or www.mhtcet2017.co.in from 01 to 22 March. An entrance test will be organizeed on May 5, 2018 (tentative) for admission to various health science courses. Application fee can be submitted via a bank challan in any discipline of State bank of India. After filling the fee for application form aspirants will find a confirmation page which is to be saved for later uses. Admit card for the test is to be obtained from official website of MHT.CET in between 25th to 30th April. Admission to these courses is organizeed by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research.

Eligibility Criteria for MUHS MBBS and BDS Admission 2018

MBBS

Duration: 5 years

Eligibility: Aspirants need to have scored minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology took together to be applicable for MBBS programme.

NOTE:

  • Aspirants with disability falling in the open category need to score an at least of 45% marks in PCB to be applicable for MBBS course.
  • Aspirants with disability falling in the reserved category need to score an at least of 40% marks in PCB to be applicable for MBBS course.

BDS

Duration: 4 years

Eligibility: Aspirants need to have scored minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together to be applicable for BDS programme.

NOTE:

  • Aspirants with disability falling in the open category need to score an at least of 45% marks in PCB to be applicable for BDS course.
  • Aspirants with disability falling in the reserved category need to score an at least of 40% marks in PCB to be applicable for BDS course.

B.Sc (Nursing)

Duration: 4 years

Eligibility: Aspirants need to have passed 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology to be applicable for the course.

Bachelor in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology [BASLP]

Duration: 3 years

Eligibility: For BASLP programme aspirants need to have passed 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.


Application Procedure for MUHS (Maharashtra University of Health Sciences) MBBS and BDS Admission 2018

MBBS , BDS & B.Sc (Nursing)

  • Aspirants need to visit the official website of MHTCET and select MHT CET 2017 Registration. This confirmation page can be taken out after 24 hours of payment of fee via bank challan.
  • Once the notification for the issue of hall ticket is announced, aspirants can download their hall ticket from the same website with their unique username and password.

User Facts:

  • The photograph and signature of aspirants are to be of a 50kb size, more than that is not acceptable.
  • The photograph should be taken in white background.
  • Photograph is to be uploaded as photo.jpeg and signature as sign.jpeg
  • The signature should be done on white paper with a black pen.
  • Scan the signature in 200dpi (dots per inch)

NOTE:

  1. For applying to health sciences course aspirants are need to be born on or before 1st October 1999.
  2. The incomplete application form is subjected to rejection and no information regarding this will be forwarded to aspirants by the authority.
Aspirants need to enter a valid email id, mobile number and password. Their aspirants need to fill the need details and upload a recent colour photograph and signature. The application fee is INR 800 for open category aspirants and INR 600 for reserved category aspirants.

NOTE: Aspirants need to pay INR 60 as bank commission.

  • After filling the application fee, aspirants need to take the print out of confirmation page. These three things are to be kept on record by the aspirant for future use.
  • Aspirants need to take the print out of the bank challan and make payment to any of the SBI disciplines.

MBBS , BDS & B.Sc (Nursing)

  • To secure admission in MBBS, BDS, B.Sc. Nursing and BASLP programmes aspirants need to appear for an entrance test.  A merit list will be announced for those aspirants who have qualified the examination.

NOTE:

  • If aspirants seeking to verify their marks scored in the exams then, they need to send an application in a self-addressed envelope along with a Demand Draft of INR 1000 drawn in favour Commissionerate, State CET CELL, Mumbai, payable at Mumbai within 4 days of the declaration of results.
  • Provisional response key will be made available on the dmer website.
  • In OMR sheet responses are to be made by darkening the bubbles with black ball pen only.
  • The OMR sheet will be available to aspirants on the website which can be accessed via their unique username and password.
  • If aspirants feel any issue in the question paper then they can submit their objection on www.mhtcet2017.co.in from 25 to 27 May 2018 (tentative).
The period for each paper is to be one and half hour each. Paper basically contains multiple choice questions and has no choice i.e. all questions are to be responded.
  • The result for entrance test will be made available on official website. Entrance test consists of 3 question papers each of 100 marks.
