MD, MS, M.Ch, and M.Pharm are offered by Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University in various specialization. University also has a tie up with the State bank of India, which offers education loan facility to deserving aspirants. Apart from financial aid, University also offers a scholarship to aspirants. Application form for M.Pharm and M.Ch is to be submitted in the month of May and June respectively. An entrance test is organized for the selection of aspirants for MD, MS, M.Ch and M.Pharm programmes on All India level. For MD and MS courses, seats are reserved for those selected under the Directorate of Medical Education and for those aspirants who are interested to cater as a teaching faculty for a minimum duration of 3 years. Application for MD and MS is to be submitted in the month of February and entrance test is to be organized in the month of February itself. The application can be made via online mode for which payment is to be done via net banking/Credit card/Debit card.

Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) are offered by the Kasturba Medical College in various specializations.

Note 1: Foreign nationals/NRI supported by cousin brother/sister, aunt, uncle brother/sister-in-law or any other person will not be accepted.
Note 2: Period for those aspirants who have a diploma in the same specialization is 2 years.
M.Pharm is offered by the Manipal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences in various specializations.
Those aspirants who have done B.Pharm from any University recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India securing a minimum of 50% marks are qualified for the programme.M.Ch
Duration: 3 years
Aspirants can apply for the programme by visiting Manipal University website. There are two various sections for application, one is for the Indian admissions and another is for international admissions.
Indian admissions are done for Indian nationals for whom the application fee is INR 600 and entrance test fee is INR 1400. International admissions are done for foreign national for whom the application fee is INR 2500. The application is submitted in 5 simple steps:

Payment of application fee can also be done via Credit card/Debit card/Net banking. A copy of photograph and signature of the aspirant is to be uploaded while filling the online application form.
University will constitute a merit list for selection of Aspirants based on their performance in the test and the eligibility for the course.
Few seats are reserved for the Aspirants selected under Directorate of Medical education. (For MS and MD)
Seats are also reserved under the In-service category, in which Aspirants are required to serve as a teaching staff for at least 3 years after the completion of course. (For MS and MD)
Aspirants are required to appear for an interview for admission to M.Ch programme.
A separate merit will be constituted for the foreign nationals on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying exams.
The State Bank of India provides financial support to those students who are meritorious but lags on financial aspects.
Bank provides a loan of INR 7.5 lakhs to deserving Aspirants without any security. This amount may be extended to INR 30 lakhs if Aspirants produce something as a security for the money taken as loan. Bank allows the repayment of the loan by the candidate up to 12 years.
Parent’s annual Income scholarship:
Up to INR 3 lakhs: 100%
3 lakhs to 5 lakhs: 90%
5 lakhs to 7.5 lakhs: 75%
7.5 lakhs to 10 lakhs: 50%
10 lakhs to 12.5 lakhs: 25%
Above 12.5 lakhs: 10%
Those Aspirants, who are eligible for 100% scholarship, should have to pay 5% of the annual fee or 5% of family annual income, whichever is less.
To claim for the scholarship Aspirants are required to provide an attested copy of Income Tax return of parents’ income.
The scholarship does not contain hostel fees, expenses on books etc.
There is also a provision of providing a scholarship to those Aspirants who have linguistic command on Konkani language. They are provided with the waiver of 10% of the course fee.
