Maharashtra University of Health Sciences offers various courses in the field of medicine, physiotherapy, Audiology and Speech language pathology and other sciences programmes which are helpful to offer a boom in the career of aspirants after graduation. These courses are organizeed in the wise supervision of experts offerd by the University. Admission to DM and M.Ch. programmes is organizeed by Directorate of Medical Education and Research and the application form for which is available on their website itself. Merit list is prepared on the basis of marks scored in the entrance test. Admission to other courses is made by an entrance test organizeed by the University for which application form is available on the University website. Interview is to be given by those aspirants only who are able to make their names in the merit list. For courses except for forDM and M.Ch. aspirants are need to appear for an interview organizeed by the University. Aspirants should score minimum 50% marks in the entrance test to get their names in the merit list.

Eligibility Criteria for MU of Health Sciences DM, M.Ch and MPT Admission, Eligibility Criteria 2018

DM [Clinical Pharmacology] , DM [Endocrinology] & DM [Gastroenterology]

Duration: 3 years

Eligibility:

Aspirants should have done MBBS/MD from a University recognized by the Medical Council of India. Aspirants having MNAMS/DNB are also applicable for admission to the programme.

M.Ch

Specializations:

  • Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
  • Cardio Vascular and Thoracic Surgery
  • Neuro-Surgery
  • Paediatrics Surgery
  • Surgical Oncology
  • Surgical Gastroenterology
  • Urology

Duration: 3 years

Eligibility: Aspirants are need to have done MS from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India.

Master in Audiology and Speech- Language Pathology [MASLP]

Duration: 2 years

Eligibility: Those aspirants who have passed BASLP/B.Sc. or any other equivalent degree from a recognized University are applicable for the MASLP programme.

Master in Occupational Therapy [MOT]

Duration: 3 years

Eligibility: Those aspirants who have a Bachelor degree in Occupational theory are applicable for the masters’ programme.

Master of Physiotherapy [MPT]

  • Sports Physiotherapy

  • Neurosciences
  • Cardiovascular and Respiratory Sciences

Duration: 3 years

Eligibility: Aspirants are need to have a Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized University.


Application Procedure for Maharashtra University of Health Sciences DM, M.Ch and MPT Admission, Eligibility Criteria 2018

For DM and M.Ch. programmes:

Application form for DM and M.Ch. programmes are available on Directorate of Medical Education and Research website. Aspirants are need to fill in the details need in the application form. After making the payment to the State Bank of India via the challan, aspirants can again login by using the application number as username and unique password offerd previous.

User facts:

  • After filling the application form, a copy of form and challan will be send to the email registered by the aspirant.
  • Aspirants are need to upload a scan copy of photograph and signature.
  • Aspirants should keep a copy of application form and bank challan which shall be used in future.
  • Application form fee is INR 5000 and INR 60 as bank charges.

NOTE: Aspirants required not to send the application form copy or challan to the office.

For other Programmes:

Aspirants are need to download the application form from the University website and send it along with a Demand Draft of INR 600 drawn in the favour of Registrar MUHS, Nashik and send it to

NOTE: Application form is to be filled with a black ball pen in the aspirant’s own hand writing.

Attested copies of documents to be send along with the application form:

  1. 10th marks sheet
  2. 12th marks sheet
  3. Graduation marks sheet
  4. Physical fitness certificate
  5. Migration certificate
When aspirants will submit the filled application form a bank challan will be generated which is to be used for filling the application fee.

Aspirants will get a unique password once they will fill the application form which can be used for future use.


Admission Procedure of MU (Maharashtra University) of Health Sciences DM, M.Ch and MPT Admission, Eligibility Criteria 2018

For DM and M.Ch. programmes:

Aspirants are need to appear for an entrance test MH-SSET organizeed by the Directorate of Medical Education & Research. The questions asked in the entrance test are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

NOTE: Aspirants are need to offer a print out of hall ticket along with a valid photo ID proof at the examination centre.

For other Programmes:

An entrance test will be organizeed for the admission of the aspirant to the M.Sc. programme. Those aspirants who are successful to make their names in the merit list will be called for an interview.

NOTE: Those aspirants who’ll score 50 or more than 50% marks in the entrance test will score position in the merit list.

A merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance of aspirants in the entrance test.
