Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) was founded in 1998. It is situated in Hyderabad, Telangana. The university has different departments which offer undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs.

MANUU provides 4-year B.Tech course in Computer Science with 66 seats. The university also offers a 2-year B.Ed course in the specializations of Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Social Studies and Urdu with the total of 66 seats.

Admission to B.Tech & B.Ed is based on an entrance test organized by the university. Candidates can register by applying online via the official website by filling the application form and paying the need application fee before May 07, 2018.

Eligibility Criteria
B.Ed

  • Aspirants applying for B.Ed must have a BA/ B.Sc/ B.Sc (Home Science) or B.Com degree with 50% marks.
  • For SC/ST/OBC and women aspirants, there’s a 5% relaxation in the eligibility requirement.
  • Those with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with 55% marks are also qualified to apply.

BE/B.Tech

  • For Lateral Entry, aspirants must have a Diploma in Engineering with CSE/ IT/ ECE/ Electrical Engineering branches with at least 45% marks.
  • Kashmiri migrants are given a 10% relaxation in the minimum eligibility requirement.
  • Participants must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects and 45% marks.
  • For SC/ST/OBC and women aspirants, 5% relaxation is given in the minimum eligibility.

Note: It is compulsory for participants to have studied and passed Urdu either as a subject or a language at 10+2 or graduation level in order to apply for B.Tech & B.Ed. 

Step to Apply

B.Ed & BE/B.Tech

Aspirants can apply for B.Tech & B.Ed via in online method via the university’s official website. Following are the detailed steps to apply:

  1. Visit the official website of the university.
  2. Click on ‘Apply Online’ under the Admissions tab.
  3. Read the instructions and click on ‘Apply Online’.
  4. Fill the details correctly and click on ‘Register’.
  5. A Login ID & Password will be sent to your e-mail address.
  6. Using the credentials, fill the application form.
  7. Pay the application fee of INR 550 (INR 350 for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) online via Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking.

Scanned copies of the following documents are needed during registration: 

  • Photograph of the aspirant
  • Scanned signature of the aspirant
  • Proof of Urdu studied as a subject or a language

Admission Procedure

B.Ed & BE/B.Tech

Selection of the aspirants to B.Ed & B.Tech courses is done on the basis of performance in the entrance test organized by MANUU. The entrance test will be organized in the different exam centers available all over India.

University provides admission either on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam or merit in the entrance examination/interview conducted by the University

In case of MSW the Aspirants need to face interview for qualifications

Note: Aspirants who have appeared or are appearing in the qualifying exams can also apply for the entrance test.
