ManipalUniversity is a deemed university founded in 1956. The University provides different courses in many streams like medicine, dentistry, engineering, pharmacy, hotel management, and communication. It is situated in Manipal, Karnataka and is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities.
University provides undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes in the field of architecture, which is listed below:
Admission to B. Arch. programme is via NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) and admission to the M. Arch programme is through merit in qualifying examination.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Arch. and M.Arch. Program
The aspirant must have passed in All India National Aptitude Test in Architecture with at least of 40% marks organized by Council of Architecture and must secure at least 50% aggregate marks.
The aspirant must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics and English as mandatory subjects or 3 years diploma in any stream after 10 years of schooling recognised by Central/State Government with Mathematics and English as mandatory subjects.
The aspirant must possess a degree in B. Arch or equivalent approved by Council of Architecture with at least 50% aggregate marks.
Application Procedure of B.Arch. and M.Arch. Program
The aspirant must fill the application form in his/her handwriting.
The application form will be rejected if there is overwriting, striking off or erasing anywhere in the form.
The aspirant must remit entrance fee via DD which should be drawn in favor of 'Manipal University' payable at Manipal or Udupi. Both application number and name should be mentioned on the back of DD.
Aspirants are not allowed to fold, staple or clip the form and keep the copy of the filled application for future reference.

Change of category from Foreign/NRI to General after admission will not be entertained.
Aspirants are need to fill up the application form online and upload photograph and copy of aspirants signature.
Aspirants can register themselves by paying application fees of amount Rs. 2000/- by making the online payment via Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.

Selection of the aspirant in B. Arch. programme is based on the marks obtained NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) organized by Council of Architecture (CoA)
Admission in M. Arch. Is via merit in the qualifying examination.

1st year Under Graduate students are offered with double/triple rooms only
Foreign/NRI students may reserve their rooms in advance while submitting their application forms.
University offer hostel rooms with all the facilities (study table, chair and cupboard, uninterrupted electricity, solar/electric heated water facility, water cooler with aquaguard filters, common telephone, common TV room, common reading room etc.) to all aspirants.
Foreign nationals or Non-Resident Indians or Indian nationals supported by NRI relatives can apply under the Foreign/NRI Category.
