Meenakshi University/Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER) invites applications for the MBBS Programme for the academic year 2018-19. The admissions to different private and government medical colleges under the aegis of MAHER will be via the Entrance Exam organized by MAHER, Chennai. The applications usually come out by April or May.
The institute is one of the premier institutes of medicine in the country. With the limited number of seats, the competition is very high. No other rank or marks except the ones earned in the Entrance Exam will allow for admission.

You can obtain the Application form in 3 ways:
1. Download the Application form from the website.
3. In person, by remitting Rs. 1000, on all working days.
2. Click on the “MAHER MBBS Application 2017” link.
Step 1: You should visit the official University website. By Post, You should send a requisition letter along with a DD for Rs. 1100 in favor of “The Registrar, MAHER” payable at Chennai.
Step 2: Download the Application form and fill in the necessary details.
Step 3: Attach a DD for Rs. 1000 in favor of “The Registrar, MAHER” payable at Chennai
Step 4: Send the Application form along with the DD at the following address:

You are selected on the basis of rank obtained in an Entrance Exam organized by the University which consists of one paper. It is a 2 hour paper with no negative marking, so you can attempt as many questions as you can. The Paper consists of Multiple Choice Type questions (MCQs) with 4 options. The Syllabus for the paper comprises Physics, Chemistry, and Biology of HSC level.
The reservation policy of the University will be as per the norms prescribed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
