Admissions to the above mentioned M.Phil. Programme is done on the basis of aspirant’s performance in the qualifying examination and marks scored in the entrance test, following which they will be called in for the interview. M.Phil. , M.Phil. (Development Studies) & M.Phil. (Economics)

M.Phil. in Special Education and Rehabilitation Sciences

Aspirant should have Post Graduate degree in Special Education/M.Sc in Disability Studies and Rehabilitation Studies/M.Ed degree with a at least of 55%. Aspirants with one paper in Special Education or the ones with experience in centres of Special Education or Diploma in Special Education will be preferred

M.Phil. in Rehabilitation Psychology

Aspirant should have Master’s degree in Psychology with minimum 55% marks

M.Phil. in Behavioural Medicine and rehabilitation (Full-time / Part-time)

Aspirant should have MBBS degree with minimum 55% marks. /Agriculture/Forestry/ Engg.

M.Phil in Pure and Applied Physics

Aspirant should have M.Sc. degree in Physics with a at least of 65% aggregate in marks

M.Phil in Malayalam

Aspirant should possess Master’s degree in Malayalam with minimum 55% marks

M.Phil in English

Aspirant should have Master’s degree in English with a at least of 55% aggregate in marks

M.Phil in Theatre Arts

Aspirant should have Master’s degree in any subject with a at least of 55% marks

M.Phil Gandhian Studies

Aspirant should possess Master’s degree in Gandhian Studies with minimum 55% marks

M.Phil Development Studies

Aspirant should have Master’s degree in Development Science with minimum 55% marks

M.Phil Social Work

Aspirant should have done MSW/MA in Social Work in any field of specialization with a at least of 55% aggregate in marks

M.Phil in Politics and International Relations

Aspirant should possess Master’s degree in Politics and International Relations/Politics/History/ Economics/ /Law with a at least of 55% marks

M.Phil in Social Sciences

Aspirant should possess Masters in Social Sciences with minimum 55% marks

M.Phil in Social Transformation and Empowerment

Aspirant should possess Masters in Social Sciences with a at least of 55% aggregate in marks

M.Phil in Human Ecology and Natural History

Aspirant should possess Post Graduate degree in Natural Science/Material Science with minimum 60% marks (or) Post Graduate in any of the social science subject with a at least of 55% marks (or) Graduate degree in Forestry/Graduate Officers of Forest Department with a at least 2 years of professional training in forestry or an equivalent

M.Phil in Pedagogical Sciences

Aspirant should possess M.Ed. degree with a at least of 55% marks in aggregate

M.Phil in Business Studies

Aspirant should have done MBA/M.Com/MA Economics/MHRM with a at least of 55% marks

However, preference will be given to the candidates holding Post Graduate degrees in medicine

MGU Kerala M.Phil. Admissions 2018 How to Apply?

M.Phil/ Ph.D. in Arts, M.Phil/ Ph.D. in Science & M.Phil/ Ph.D. in Medicine

Aspirants can log on to the official university website to download the application forms and fill-in all the relevant details cautiously. THERE IS NO ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESS.

Along with finished applications, the aspirant must pay the registration fee of INR 500 via challan. Challan can be downloaded from the university website payable at any discipline of SBT/University Cash counter/ Friends Janasevanakedram. (For SC/ST aspirants, the registration fee is INR 250)

A single form should be submitted by the aspirants even if they have to apply for more than one programme which can be specified in the order of preference in the form.

Finished applications should be sent along with all the relevant documents, receipt of the fee/ challan and self-addressed stamp to the DIRECTORS of the related schools.

Aspirants will be selected on the basis of the qualification examination, entrance examination and the interview as per the following weightage:

The entrance test will be separate from all the branches. The exam will be of 1 hour period and will consist of objective type questions based on their qualification examination.
