Eligibility:

A pass in any discipline of the study of a Bachelor Degree/Master Degree, or Professional Degree in Engineering/Technology/Medicine/Architecture/Law, or Professional qualification in Accountancy / Cost & Works Accountancy / Company Secretaryship.

Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) - Integrated

Duration: 5 Years

  • The Higher Secondary Examination or any equivalent exam.
  • The Pre-University Examination organizeed earlier by the University of Madras or any other University accepted as equivalent.
  • The Indian School Certificate Examination organizeed by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination in not less than 5 subjects of which ENGLISH shall be one.
  • Plus two examinations of the National Open School, New Delhi.
  • The Senior School Certificate Examination [XII Standard] organizeed by the Central Board of Secondary Education is not less than 5 subjects of which ENGLISH shall be one.
  • Pre-Technical Examination organizeed after 11 years of study by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Chennai.

Duration: 2 Years

Eligibility:

Any branch of recognised University / deemed university under 10 + 2 + 3 formats of education with an at least of 3 years of work experience in managerial/supervisory / executive cadre in business/industry in private or public sector or in government/semi government / quasi-government institutions.

  • Intermediate Examination [2 years] of Andhra Pradesh, Pre-Degree Examination [2 Years] of Kerala and
  • Pre-University Examination [2 Years] of Karnataka under the 10+2 format.
  • 12 or 13 years of education in any State in India or Abroad under 11+1 or 10+2 or 11+2 format
  •  Two Years Establishation Course Examination of Annamalai and Madurai Kamaraj Universities
  • Three Year Diploma Examinations organizeed by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Chennai
  • G.C.E. [Advanced Level / Principal Level] with not less than 3 subjects in the ‘A’ Level with ENGLISH in the ‘O’ Level / SUBSIDIARY Level.

    • The students can collect the prospectus and application form from the Institute / Study Centers / Spot Admission Centers / Participatory Institutions / Twinning Program Centers for Rs. 100, or by post by sending a demand draft of Rs. 150 to The Director, IDE., University of Madras, or via the official website for by paying INR 200 via online payment.
    • The Application form must be accompanied by All the Original Certificates and the Registration Fee of Rs.100/- for UG, Rs.150/- for PG, Rs.400 for M.B.A. (Executive), and Rs. 1000 for Professional courses.
    • After filling the form cautiously, students have to send the form along with the original certificated mentioned below:
    • Detach the Application Form, Computer Coding Sheet, and Address Slip from the prospectus.
    1. Transfer Certificate from the Head of the Institution where the participant last studied
    2. Statement of Marks of the Qualifying examination
    3. Provisional Pass Certificate / Diploma Certificate
    4. Authenticated translation in English duly attested by a Gazetted Officer, if certificates are in a language other than ENGLISH / TAMIL
    5. Equivalence Certificate” alloted by the Association of Indian Universities, for students who studied abroad
    6. One photograph each on  Application Form, Address Slip, and reverse side of the Coding Sheet


    Admission Procedure of Madras University Distance MBA Admission 2018

    Selection will be done on first cum first cater basis with respect to the number of available seats. 

    Admission centre has been set up by the Madras University at Institute of Distance Education (IDE) Building Chepauk. After verification originals will be returned to the student.
  • Once your documents will be cross-checked, a provisional admission letter will be alloted.
  • After obtaining the provisional letter, you have to visit any discipline of Indian Overseas Bank (OBC) or Indian Bank for submission of the balance fee.
  • You required to download the application form, fill all the need information & submit it online. They may, however, be readmitted to the same course on payment of  Rs. 500/- subject to approval by the authorities

    • Aspirants are not permitted to remit the fees in instalments.
    Students can also visit the spot centres situated all over India for spot admissions.

    Scholarships Available:

    SC/ST students are applicable for reimbursement of fees and an annual allowance of Rs. 500 for books.

    Visually impaired or otherwise physically challenged aspirants can avail themselves of the State Government Scholarship for the Disabled.

    Notes:

    • All the courses of the Institute are provideed to the residents of India and also to foreign countries as per the discretion of the authorities
    • Admission cannot be claimed as a matter of right and the Institute reserves the right of admission
    • The admission of the defaulters will automatically stand cancelled. Students have to follow these steps to get admission.

      1. First of all, you have to apply for distance courses via any of the three modes as mentioned in the application procedure.
      2. After submission of the application form, you can collect the token from admission desk.
      3. After that, you have to submit the attested photocopies of marks sheet & original documents for verification.
