Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM), Delhi was established in 1995 by Lal Bahadur Shastri Educational Society. It is a premier institute for management and information technology education and has emerged as one of the top business schools in the country. LBSIM Courses offers various Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme and MCA.

For Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management Admission, candidates must verify the eligibility criteria and the admission process. Application form could be submitted online and offline. Candidates are required to fill out the separate application form for each course. All candidates seeking admission to LBSIM will be required to appear in the Common Admission Test (CAT) OR Current Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) Score.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for various Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) offered at Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM) has been explained below:

  • PGDM-General: Intake - 180
  • PGDM-Finance: Intake - 60
  • PGDM- Executive: Intake - 60
  • PGDM Part Time: Intake - 60

Eligibility

The candidates seeking admission to the Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Executive shall have Three Year Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Minimum five years' experience, Company sponsored candidates will be preferred.

How to apply?

Besides registering for CAT 2017 / GMAT, candidates are also required to register with LBSIM, Delhi through a separate Application Form which will be available along with Information Brochure. Candidate Apply only Online applications. Candidates can apply online through Websites: http://lbsim.admissionhelp.com/LBSIM/StuReg.aspx. Online Application Form Fee 1250 Rupees.

Instructions for filling the form

  • On the login page, click on the Register to apply now link.
  • Read relevant details about the course and application from the home page links.
  • Fill the details into User Registration Form.
  • Confirm Registration details by clicking on the Confirm button.
  • Click verification link received your registered E-mail.
  • Login to fill the Application Form after verification of E-mail.
  • Choose the course you wish to apply for.
  • Fill all details on the form for each of the sections. Incomplete forms cannot be submitted.
  • Click 'Save/Continue to Make Payment' for saving all details and proceeding back to the Application Locker for making payment for all pending application forms.
  • In the Application Locker, under the Pending Applications area, choose your form for which you wish to make payment and Click on Make Payment.
  • On the Make Payment Page, choose Mode of Payment and verify the Amount and Click on Proceed.
  • Complete Payment Procedure and wait for confirmation E-mail.
  • After receiving the confirmation mail, log into your account to retrieve Acknowledgement Slip and retain as a proof of payment.

Admission Process

CAT/GMAT recent scores/ test conducted by LBSIM and personal interview. International Immersion Programme-7-10 days. Admission to the Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Executive programme is complete with the Three step as follows:

Admission Test

All candidates seeking admission to LBSIM will be required to appear in the Common Admission Test (CAT) at http://www.iimcat.ac.in/ Current Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) Score at http://www.gmat.com.

Registration at LBSIM

Besides CAT/ Current GMAT Score, candidates are required to register at LBSIM, Delhi through a separate Application Form which will be available along with Information Brochure from 6th October 2017 onwards from Admission Coordinator, LBSIM, Delhi.

Group Discussion (GD) and Interview

Candidates short-listed on the basis of CAT/ Current GMAT score will be called for Group Discussion (GD), Extempore, Work Experience and Personal Interview (PI) for final selection.
