Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University (KVAFSU) is an autonomous educational institution which was founded exclusively for the development of education and learning; organize of research and extension education and transfer the rural-oriented technologies in the areas of Veterinary, Animal, Dairy and Fisheries Sciences in Karnataka. The University provides postgraduate and doctoral degree programmes in the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry, Dairy and Fisheries Sciences.
KVASU invites applications for admission to the postgraduate course for the academic year. Tech.) - available at Dairy Science College, Bangalore. D. The courses comprise Master of Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc.) – available at Veterinary College at both Bidar and Bangalore, Master of Fisheries Science (M.F.Sc.)-available at College of Fisheries, Mangalore, and Master of Technology (Doctor of Technology) (M.Tech.
All courses are for a period of 2 years i.e., four semesters. The admission for the courses is via a written test organized by the University.

Fill in the form with the necessary details. Application Fee of Rs. 600 for general category participants and Rs. 300 for SC/ST/Cat -1 participants in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favor of Comptroller, KVAFSU, Bidar has to be paid along with the application.

Your selection will be done on the basis of your performance in bachelor degree programme and written test organized by the University.
Written Test: It will be of undergraduate level and will contain 100 objective type questions with four answers. You will be given due weightage if you have won medals in academics, sports, and cultural activities, passed in ICAR/JRF examinations and if are Physically handicapped / Anglo-Indians / Scouts & Guides / Children of Ex-Servicemen / Defence personnel.
The scheme of evaluation is as follows. You should be able to secure at least 50% of the total marks:
