Only aspirants with the relevant qualifying degree can register for the above-mentioned PG/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Ph.D. programmes. Applicable aspirants can apply for the programme by downloading the prescribed application form and challan through the official university website.
Aspirants can submit the prescribed application fee via the downloaded challan at any discipline of State Bank of Travancore. To register successfully for any of the above-mentioned programmes, duly filled-in applications along with the challan receipt should reach the university office before March 31, 2018.

M.Sc
Master in Science (M.Sc.) – 2 years
M.Sc. Physical Oceanography and Ocean Modelling – 10 seats
The aspirant should possess B.Sc. degree with 50% aggregate or 5.5/10.0 or 2.2/4.0 marks in any of the following subject combinations:
M.Sc. Biological Oceanography and Biodiversity – 25 seats
The aspirant should possess B.Sc. degree with 50% aggregate or 6.5/10.0 or 2.2/4.0 marks in any of the following subject combinations:
M.Sc. Applied Geo Sciences – 10 seats
The aspirant should possess a University degree with 50% or 6.5/10.00 or 2.2/4.0 marks in any of the following subject combinations:
Degree in Geology/ Geophysics/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Environmental Sciences with Geology or GIS/ Degree in Electronics/ Civil Engineering/ Coastal Engineering/ Degree in Nautical Sciences
M.Sc. Statistics – 10 seats
Aspirant should possess Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics / Statistics as the main subject with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST aspirants) or equivalent OGPA
M.Sc. Ocean Remote Sensing and GIS – 10 seats
The aspirant should possess a University degree with 50% or 5.5/10.00 or 2.2/4.0 marks in any of the following subject combinations:
Degree in Physics/ Geophysics / Geology /Mathematics/ Environmental Sciences with GIS /BE/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering/ Natural Sciences/Fishery and Life Sciences

M.Sc. Food Science and Technology – 15 seats

M.Sc. Disaster Management - 10 seats
Aspirant should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Science or B.Tech./BE The degree of any branch with 50% marks or equivalent OGPA.
M.Sc. Biotechnology and Bio-informatics – 15 seats
The aspirant should possess a Science degree with 50% marks or 5.5/10.0 OGPA or 2.2/4.0 OGPA (50% for SC/ST aspirants) in any of the following subject combinations:
M.Sc. Marine Microbiology and Marine Drugs – 15 seats

M.Sc. Marine Chemistry
The aspirant should possess a Science graduate with Chemistry either as main or subsidiary.
(N)M.Sc. Climate Science – 10 seats
The aspirant should possess University degree with 50% or 5.5/10.00 or 2.2/4.0 marks in BSc. MBA/PGDM
Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.) – 2 years
M.B.A. with Specialization in Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Rural Management and Fisheries Business Management – 35 seats in each branch
The aspirant should be Graduate/Post Graduates in Science, Arts, Commerce or professional graduates from Indian/Foreign Universities recognised by AICTE/UGC/KUFOS with minimum 55% marks in aggregate in optional subjects under the system (10+2+3). For SC /ST aspirants, there is a relaxation of 5% in the at least need aggregate
All professional graduates of State Agricultural Universities/Deemed Universities under the ICAR system with an at least OGPA of 6.0/10.0 (5.5/10.0 for SC /ST Aspirants).
M.B.A. in Energy Management – 20 seats
Aspirant should have passed B.Tech./B.E. examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate preferably in Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical / Electronics / Petroleum / Automobile / Marine Engineering / Polymer Technology / Production and Industrial Engineering.
ME/M.Tech
Master of Technology (M.Tech.) – 2 years
M.Tech. in Fisheries Engineering – 6 seats degree in Marine Engineering / Civil / Mechanical / Safety & Fire / EEE / Naval Arch.
Aspirant should have obtained 60% aggregate preferably with GATE/NET
M.Tech. degree in Mechanical / Civil / Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering
in Coastal and Harbour Engineering – 10 seats in Ocean and Coastal Safety Engineering – 10 seats in Integrated Coastal Zone Management – 6 seats
The aspirant should possess B.Tech/BE degree in Integrated Coastal Zone Management/ Civil Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Environmental Engineering/ Harbour Engineering/ Coastal Engineering. The aspirant must have secured minimum 50% aggregate in his/her qualifying degree.
Law graduates, M.Sc., in Marine geology/GeoScience, Geo-Physics, Marine biology and Oceanography, B.F.Sc. are also applicable to apply for M.Tech.
The aspirant should possess a B.Tech. degree or B.E./B.Tech.
The aspirant should possess a B.Tech. programme
M.Tech. degree in Civil / Mechanical / Marine / Naval Arch.

Master of Law (LL.M.)
LL.M. in Maritime Law (Evening Course) – 10 seats
Aspirants should have passed the LL.B. Degree Examination of any University in the State of Kerala or of any other University recognised as equivalent thereto with 55% marks in the aggregate (50% for SC/ST Students).
M.Phil/Ph.D in Science
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
Doctoral degree programmes leading to Ph.D. are being provideed by the following 5 faculties of KUFOS:
Eligibility:
General stream: Aspirants must possess a Master’s degree from a recognised University with an at least of 50% marks in the qualifying examination, or an at least CGPA of 5.0/10. For SC/ST aspirants, a relaxation of 10% marks in the at least eligibility marks is eligible.
ICAR stream: Aspirant should possess Master’s degree (M.F.Sc.) in the respective branch / concerned branch with an OGPA of 7.0/10 or equivalent percentage of marks. For SC/ST aspirants, an OGPA of 6.5/10 or equivalent percentage of marks at Master’s degree is sufficient.
Post Graduate Diploma in Science & Post Graduate Diploma in Law
P.G. Diploma – 1 year
Post Graduate Diploma in Aquarium Science and Technology – 20 seats
The aspirant should possess a graduate degree in any science branch.
Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Aquaculture – 20 seats
The aspirant should possess B.Sc. degree any Biological subjects including Botony, Zoology, Fisheries, Biotechnology etc.
Post Graduate Diploma in Maritime Law (Evening Course)
The aspirant should have passed the L.L.B. Degree Examination of any University in the state of Kerala or of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto.
Diploma in Science
Diploma in Brackish Water and Marine Aquaculture – 20 seats
The aspirant should have passed 10+2 or VHSE with Biology as one of the subjects.
Master of Fisheries Science [MFSc] (Aquatic Environment Management), Master of Fisheries Science [MFSc] (Aquaculture) & Master of Fisheries Science [MFSc] (Aquatic Animal Health Management)
The aspirant should possess at least OGPA of 6.5/10.0 in his/her Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science recognised by Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies. For SC/ST aspirants, an OGPA of 5.5/10.0 is sufficient

M.Sc
Aspirants will be admitted to the M.Sc. programme via common entrance examination (CEE) and interview organizeed by KUFOS.
MBA/PGDM
Selection of the aspirant to the MBA programme will be based on the performance of the aspirant in the qualifying degree (30%), MAT/CAT/CMAT/KUFOS MAT entrance examination (50%), Group Discussion (10%) and Interview (10%).
ME/M.Tech
Aspirants will be admitted to the programme via common entrance examination (CEE) and interview organizeed by KUFOS.
LLM
Admission to the course shall be made only on the basis of an Entrance Test. The test shall be of 2 hour period and consist of 100 objective type questions, carrying one mark each.
M.Phil/Ph.D in Science
Aspirant will be selected for admission to Ph.D. Programme on the basis of their performance in School Admission Test (SAT) and Interview organizeed by KUFOS.
The following aspirants are exempted from SAT:
Aspirants will be selected on the basis of qualifying marks and the marks obtained in the interview.
Diploma in Science
Selection of the aspirant will be done on the basis of his/her performance in qualifying examination.
The reservation norms prescribed by the Government of Kerala will be eligible for admission to all courses provideed by KUFOS. of Kerala. List of communities to be considered under the SC/ST category will be as per the list approved by the Govt.
