The application form for both MCA and BCA programs can be obtained from the official website of the university. The university generally offers a three month’s window for aspirants to clear the application procedure. The admission to both BCA and MCA (regular and lateral) program is via an entrance test.
Aspirants who have successfully finished their higher secondary certificate examination can apply for BCA. In case of lateral entry in MCA, the aspirant must possess BCA or B.Sc. in IT/Computer Science/IST/ITM. For MCA, an aspirant must possess a graduate degree in a relevant branch of Mathematics.

The entrance test for BCA constitutes of 120 questions. The section-wise breakup of questions is given below:

The entrance test for MCA and MCA Lateral Entry will be objective in nature. There will be 120 questions. There will be three sections in the question paper – Mathematical Ability, Analytical and Logical ability, and Computer Awareness. Questions in Mathematical ability will be of 10+2 standard. The section-wise number of questions asked in MCA entrance is given below:

KIIT university organizes counseling procedure for admission to BCA and MCA after the results for entrance exam is declared. An aspirant must carry the following documents for counseling procedure: Aspirants who score marks equal to or above the cutoff marks will be called for the counseling procedure. Based on the availability of seats and number of aspirants appearing in the entrance exam, the university will declare cutoff marks.
