Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti Urdu, Arabi-Farsi University situated in Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, India is a public University founded in 2012, by Government of India. It is recognised by UGC. of U.P. has decided to acquire additional 15 acres of land for the University and another proposal of acquiring additional 120 acres is also being considered by the State Government. The Govt. The university campus flourishes on 28 acres of land.

The university offers mandatory English classes to help students equip with basic English skills. The university follows a semester system for undergraduate level courses. The University provides a range of quality education in professional and academic courses in the Department of Urdu, Arabic, Persian, Hindi, English, History, Economics, Geography, Business Administration, Commerce, Education, Home Science, Mass Communication, Physical Education, Political Science and Computer Application.

The University provides admission to following undergraduate programmes for the year 2018:

  • BA-JMC (Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication)
  • B.Com. (Hons) (Bachelor of Commerce)
  • BA (Bachelor of Arts)
  • BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration)
  • B.Sc. Home Science (Bachelor of Science)

Aspirants with the relevant qualification can register for admission by filling the application form and submitting the need processing fee. as per the rules of the Government and norms of the university. Admission to the above programmes is done on the basis of merit of the aspirant in the qualifying examination. The university offers reservation of seats/relaxation of marks for SC/ST/OBC etc.

Eligibility:

The aspirant should have qualified intermediate/10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC/ST aspirants) from a recognised board/Madrasa board of all states.

B.Sc

B.Sc. Home Science- 3 years (60 seats)

Eligibility:

The aspirant should have qualified intermediate/ 10+2 or equivalent examination with PCM/PCB as main subjects with at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC/ST aspirants) from a recognised board.

B.Com

B.Com. (Hons) (Bachelor of Commerce) - 3 years (60 seats)

Eligibility:

The aspirant should have qualified intermediate/ 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics/Economics/Commerce as one of the subjects with at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC/ST aspirants) from a recognised board/institution.

Bachelor of Computer Applications [BCA]

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) - 3 years (60 seats)

Eligibility:

The aspirant should have qualified intermediate/10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST aspirants) from a recognised board/institution.

How To Apply for BA, B.Com, B.Sc & other UG Courses

BBA/BBM , BA & B.Com

The aspirants can apply for admissions by filling and submitting the clear application form along with the need amount of processing fee and important documents. Aspirants can obtain the application form by following ways:

  • Aspirant wants admission in more than one-course required to submit the separate form for each course.
  • The aspirant may obtain the application form from any Corporation bank /Canara bank on cash payment of prescribed fee and additional bank charges.
  • The aspirant can download and obtain the application form the official website and submit it along with the Demand Draft in favor of “Finance Officer Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti Urdu, Arabi-Farsi University”, payable at Lucknow.

After obtaining the application form, the aspirant must follow these steps:

  • Submit the application form to the office of “The Registrar Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti Urdu, Arabi-Farsi University Uttar Pradesh, Sitapur Hardoi Byepass Road, Lucknow- 226013” either in person or by Post/Courier.
  • After ensuring the eligibility criteria, the aspirant must start filling up the application form manually.
  • The aspirant must keep the Xerox of application form for future reference.
  • Attach the need self-attested photocopies of documents and paste the recent colored passport size photographs on the application form.

Enclosures:

  • Demand draft of need amount drawn in favor of “The Finance officer Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti Urdu, Arabi-Farsi University Uttar Pradesh”, payable at Lucknow (in case of downloaded form)
  • Caste/creed or reservation category certificate allocated by a competent body
  • Need marks sheets of the qualifying degrees

Note:

  • The application fee for General/OBC Category: Rs.500/-
  • The application fee for SC/ST aspirants: Rs.250/-
  • Bank Charges: Rs.20/-
  • The application fee is non-refundable
  • The university also provides admission to foreign/NRI students in their preferred subject. The eligibility for such students will be the same for the Indian students.

Admission Procedure for BA, B.Com, B.Sc & other UG Courses

Bachelor of Computer Applications [BCA] , BA & BBA/BBM

Admission to the above undergraduate programmes is done on the basis of merit of the aspirant in the qualifying examination.

The admission process will start after the declaration of the first merit list. The undergraduate students will be admitted on the basis of the total marks secured in the qualifying examination.

Note:

  • During their course, Aspirants will need to learn Urdu/Arabian/Persian as a mandatory subject and will have to complete a qualifying examination of the same subject.
  • If two or more aspirants secure equal marks or rank in the merit list, then the aspirant who is older in age will be given the preference for admission.

Counseling:

The aspirants who are selected via merit need to participate in the counseling procedure.

Aspirants required to bring the self-attested photocopies of the following documents along with originals at the time of counseling:

  • Mark Sheet/Grade Sheet of the qualifying degree course. 
  • Reserved category Certificate allowed by the competent authority
  • Character Certificate from the Dean/Head/Principal of the University/Institution last attended. 
  • Migration Certificate from the competent authority of the University/Institution last attended
  • Other certificates on the basis of which weight/ reservation is being claimed

Reservation Criteria

The reservation of the seats is for the categories of UP only. The reservation of various categories is divided into two categories - Vertical and Horizontal reservation, which is below given in the tabular form:

Besides the reservation policy, the percentage of weight permitted for Outstanding Sportsperson, NCC and NSS shall be 5%, 2.5%, and 2% respectively.

Seats will for the reserved groups be reserved as per the norms and guidelines of the State Government/Academic Council of University.

Scholarship

The university has special “scholarship committee” which has several provisions to offer scholarships to the aspirants who are undergoing different courses provided by the university.
