Kerala University provides several undergraduate programs including BBA, B.Sc., BA, BA(Hons.), B.Com., BPA, BSW, BA Music, BFA, B.P.Ed, BPA, B.Des., B.P.T, BASLP and B. Pharm. While many of these are merit-based, several of them offer admission via an entrance test organized by the University itself.
The courses are based on the Choice Based Credit and Semester System and all programs except B.P.Ed and BFA are called First Degree Programs. The admission to these courses is based on Online Central Allocation (OCA), and this procedure will offer an opportunity to apply to any of the colleges affiliated to Kerala University. You should apply to the course before the closure of the registration deadline, which is the same for all categories.
The allocation will strictly depend on the merit of the aspirant for the First Degree Programs.
For Programs of BFA, B.P.Ed., BPA, B.Des. and BA Music, an entrance test, and aptitude exam are organized.

Aspirants must have passed Higher Secondary Examination of the state or an equivalent exam, with the subject opted for as one of the main subjects.BA
Aspirants must have passed Higher Secondary Examination of state or an equivalent Exam accepted by the University.BCA
The aspirant must have passed Higher Secondary Examination of the State or an Examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects.BBA/BBM
Aspirants must have passed Higher Secondary or any other Examination accepted by the university as equivalent thereto with any subject combination with at least of 45% marks in aggregate.B.Com
Aspirants must have passed Higher Secondary or any other Examination accepted by the university as equivalent thereto with any subject combination with at least of 45% marks in aggregate.Bachelor of Social Work [BSW]
Aspirants must have passed Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent recognised by the University.Bachelor of Fine Arts [BFA]

Admission to the course will be based on the following criteria:
Allocation of seats:

The rest of the seats will be filled by the Educational Agency by the aspirants that they choose.
There are several reservations that are considered during the allocation of seats:
The certificates to be produced by students under the reserved category are compulsory. It should be done during the online registration.
You will need to produce all original documents at the time of admission to verify your claims made in the online application form.
Aspirants belonging to the SEBC category will have to produce a community certificate and an Income certificate.
The merit of a student, i.e. the marks scored in the qualifying examination in programs will be counted for the admission to different courses. Having an NCC/NSS certificate in a course helps the student to secure bonus marks.
