Kakatiya University was established in 1976 in Warangal, Telangana to fulfill the aspirations of the Telangana people for higher education. Located in a sprawling area of about 650 acres, the university presently provides programmes in Engineering, Pharmacy, Law, Computer Science, Business Management, Education, Science, Arts, Commerce, Oriental courses in the University, constituent and affiliated colleges. The University was initially accredited with B+ grade by the NAAC in 2002 and reaccredited with A grade in 2008.

With 24 departments in four colleges on the campus in addition to 11 constituent colleges and 471 affiliated colleges, the university provides the following law programmes via Telangana State Law Test, organized by the university on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).

  • Bachelor of Law (LL.B)
  • Master of Law (LL.M)

Aspirants will be shortlisted for admission to the 3 years/ 5-year LL.B programme on the basis of their performance in the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test-2016 (TSLAWCET-2016). For admission to LL.M course, aspirants will be selected via Telangana State Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test - 2016 (TSPGLCET-2016).

Aspirants can register themselves to the LL.B. course by submitting applications via online method along with the registration fee amount of Rs. 350/- and Rs. 250/- (aspirants belong to SC/ST category). For admission to LL.M course, the registration fee of Rs. 600/- and Rs. 500/- (for aspirants belong to SC/ST category) should be paid at Online Centres or via payment gateway (Credit card/Debit card).

KU LL.M. & LL.B. Admissions  2018 Eligibility Criteria

LLB

LL.B (3 years):

  • Aspirants have passed degree examination of at least three year period (10+2+3 format) from this university or any other recognised university with 45% aggregate of marks (40% marks for aspirants belong to SC/ST category)
  • Aspirants should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local/non- local requirements along with the rules of the Universities related
  • If the aspirant has secured less than 45% of marks in graduation, then he/she should have passed any additional graduation or post graduation with 45% marks.

LL.B (5 years)

  • Aspirants should have passed two years intermediate examination (10+2 format) with at least 45% marks (40% marks for aspirants belong to SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent to Intermediate by the University, Board of Intermediate T.S and Bar Council of India
  • There is no age restriction for admission into LLB 3 year/5 Years and LL.M courses

LLM

  • Aspirants must secure 25% qualifying marks in TSPGLCET – 2016.
  • Aspirants should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local/non- local requirements along with the rules of the Universities related
  • Aspirants who possess 3/5 years LL.B./B.L. Final year examination are also applicable. degree or are due to appear for LL.B./B.L. However he should pass at the time of counseling

LLB & LLM

  • Upon logging on to the website, aspirant should click on the “Apply Online” button and select the suitable Registration Fee payment method (TS Online / AP Online or Debit / Credit card)
  • For admission to LL.B/LL.M programme, aspirants can submit the application forms through online method only from the official TSLAWCET & TSPGLCET website.

In case of payment via TS / AP Online, keep all the compulsory details willing need for filling in the Online Application form along with the Transaction Id. and click on the encircled “Click here if paid via TS/ AP Online” button

  • Upon clicking the button, “Payment Verification” web page will appear.
  • After clicking the above button, it will proceed to next step where the Online Application Form will be displayed on the screen
  • Fill in all the details in the respective fields and Click on the encircled button “Proceed to Online Application form filling”

In case of payment via Debit card/ Credit card, the control will be navigated to the PAYMENT GATEWAY, for payment purpose.Once the payment is finished, the aspirant will be automatically redirected to the “www.tslawcet.org” page to clear the Online Application Form with the need details.

Once the payment is successfully finished via Credit card/ Debit card, aspirant shall proceed to the Online Application Form filling page and clear the registration procedure.

  • Aspirants can register themselves to the LL.B courses by submitting the registration fee of amount Rs. 350/- and Rs. 250/- (for aspirants belong to SC/ST category).
  • Aspirants can pay the fees at TS/AP Online Centers/ Citizen Service Centers, e – Seva Centres in T.S. & A.P. and also via payment gateway (Credit Card/Debit Card/ Net Banking).
  • Aspirants can register themselves to the LL.M course by submitting the registration fee of amount Rs. 600/- and Rs. 500/- (for aspirants belong to SC/ST category).

 Other Information needs for filling Online Application:

  1. Recent passport size digital color photograph (size < 30 KB) for uploading.
  2. Digital Signature of the aspirant (size15 KB) of an aspirant for uploading.
  3. Examination Center to which aspirant wishes to appear
  4. TSLAWCET/TSPGLCET-2016 exam.
  5. Gender (Male / Female.)
  6. Community (Non-Minority / Minority).
  7. Mobile Number of the aspirant.
  8. Mobile Number of the aspirant.
  9. E-Mail ID of the aspirant.
  10. Place of study of Graduation - URBAN or RURAL area.

LLB

  • At Least qualifying marks for general aspirants in TSLAWCET-2016 is 35% (i.e., 42 marks out of total 120 marks) and no at least marks are prescribed for SC/ST aspirants
  • Selection of the aspirants to the LL.B course is done on the basis of TSLAWCET i.e. “Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test”, organized by the university.

LLM

  • At Least qualifying marks in TSPGLCET-2016 is 25% (i.e., 30 marks out of total 120 marks) and no at least marks are prescribed for SC/ST aspirants.
  • Selection of the aspirants to the LL.M course is done on the basis of TSPGLCET i.e.” Telangana State Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test”, organized by the university
