Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeswara University, also known by the abbreviation JSS University, is a deemed university situated in the city of Mysore, in the Indian state of Karnataka. It was founded in 2008. JSS University is focussed on medical and health-concerned studies and includes JSS Medical College, JSS Dental College and JSS College of Pharmacy at the main campus in Mysore as well as a second pharmacy college in Ootacamund, in the neighboring state of Tamil Nadu. The university offers admission to the following Pharmacy programs:
D-Pharm
Pharm-D (Regular/PB)
B-Pharm (regular/LE)
Only aspirants with the relevant qualifying degree can register for the above mentioned programmes. Seats are reserved for people belonging to various categories such as SC/ST/BC etc.
Aspirants can register for admission by filling in the application form (offline/online) and be submitting the need processing fee, on or before the due date. Admission to the above programs is based on marks secured by the aspirants in the qualifying degree examination, Entrance examination followed by counseling.

B.Pharm
Eligibility
Minimum 40% marks in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English in PUC II / 10+2 / HSC or equivalent.
Diploma in Pharmacy [D.Pharma]
Eligibility
English in PUC II / 10+2 / HSC or equivalent.
*For SC/ST there is a relaxation of 5%

JSS University Pharmacy Admissions 2018 Application Procedure
Pharm.D, Diploma in Pharmacy [D.Pharma] & B.Pharm
Aspirants must apply for admission via online/offline (by post or in person from the university office) registration procedure and submit the finished application before the due date. All fields in the application form should be correctly and completely filled-in with the relevant information.
The aspirant should log on to the university website and follow the given steps:
Visit university website www.jssuni.edu.in and downloaded the application form.
Submission of the application form by post or in person along with Photographs and other enclosures on or before the scheduled date.
The downloaded application and printed application form should be sent along with a processing fee only by way of Demand Draft (DD) in favor of JSS University Fee Account, Mysore, payable at Mysore along with the documents listed.
Participants may also obtain the application form along with the Brochure by sending an application fee of Rs.200/-only by way of Demand Draft (DD) favoring “JSS University Fee Account”, Mysore payable at Mysore.
Send the finished application with requisite annexure and fees super scribed clearly on the outside of the envelop “Application for desired course name” to The Registrar, JSS University, JSS Medical Institution Campus, Sri Shivarathreeshwara Nagar, Mysore, Karnataka – 570015.

JSS University Pharmacy Admissions 2018 Selection Procedure
D.Pharm, Diploma in Pharmacy [D.Pharma] & B.Pharm
Students will be admitted to the stated courses in the constituent college of JSS University on the basis of the rank list prepared by the University from marks secured in qualifying examinations in relevant subjects organized by different Boards of Authority followed by counseling.
Reservation Criteria
15% of the seats are reserved for Institutional preference.
15% of total seats are reserved for NRI / Foreign students.
JSSU entrance test score/rank list are valid only for admission during the academic year 2016 and the judgment of the authorities of JSS University in case of disputes will be final.

Hostel facility: Hostel facility is available both for boys and girls. of India. The hostel fees shall be charged separately.
