JNTU Anantapur invites aspirants to join their different specializations provideed in M.Tech and M.Pharm courses. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University is the new name of 'The College of Engineering, Vishakhapatnam' which was founded in 1946. It became a constituent college of the university in 1972. JNTU Anantapur started functioning in 2008 from one of its constituent colleges. It is one of the most highly ranked technical universities in the country, coming up with different schemes to offer quality education to the students.
The university holds an entrance test, 'AP PGECET', to select the students for their M.Tech & M.Pharm. The counseling dates will be released after the declaration of the result of AP PGECET. courses. Some specializations of M.Tech are also available as part-time courses for the students who are employed in any institution. The course just as B.E./B.Tech,/AMIE degree is essential for the M.Tech course. The application forms are available online and are to be submitted online only. The selection of applicable aspirants will be based on the rank scored in AP PGECET. The test is multiple-choice and based on English medium. A bachelor's degree in pharmacy is a pre-requisite for M.Pharm.

Application Procedure for JNTU Anantapur M.Tech, M.Pharm Admissions 2018
ME/M.Tech & M.Pharm
The application form can be obtained and submitted online only. There are no designated centres to offer or accept application forms.
The aspirants do not need to upload any certificate etc., although SC/ST aspirants have to bring an attested copy of their caste certificate along with them in the examination hall.
Debit/Credit Card*: In case the aspirant seekings to use net banking or debit/credit card, he/she can fill the form and then make the payment.
Aspirants can get the application form from APICET's website.
AP Online: The aspirant can visit any of the online payment centres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The aspirants can login using this ID and fill and submit their application form.
After opening the online application portal, the aspirants can pay the registration fee of Rs. 600 (Rs. 300 for SC/ST) via one of the two modes: AP Online, or via debit/credit card.
After filling the form and uploading the scanned copies of their passport size photo and signature, the aspirants can submit their forms.
Note: When paying via debit/credit card, do not press back/refresh or close the window during the payment as it can cancel the payment.

After the intake of GATE qualified students is over, the remaining vacant seats are allotted on the basis of the rank/marks scored in AP PGECET.
Holding a rank alone does not guarantee admission. The aspirant has to appear for counseling and must have all documents verified.
Spot Admissions:
The vacant seats under category – A, sponsored, and Seer Academy JNTUA will be filled through spot admissions.
The aspirants have to submit a registration fee of Rs. 1,000/- for each course or college the aspirant wishes to fill. and M.Pharm.
Aspirants who have applied or are already in the sponsored category of the university may not apply, but they can take part in the counseling straight by registering at the DOA office.
For spot admissions, aspirants can apply by downloading and filling the application form from the university's website.
Spot admissions are for the aspirants who have not taken admission in any colleges in AP PGECET allocations.
The priority will be: a) GATE/GPAT score, b) AP PGECET rank, and c) Marks in the qualifying degree.
The aspirants should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the regulations of admission.
The aspirant should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
For M.Tech. courses, the aspirant must have scored minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) in their qualifying exam.
For M.Pharm. courses, the aspirant must have scored minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST) in their qualifying exam.
Fee: M.Tech. for general seats and Rs. 50,000/- for sponsored seats
Fee: M.Pharm. - Rs. 25,000/- P.A. They also have to pay Rs. 7,000 extra during admission. - Rs. 45,000/- P.A. for general seats and Rs. 90,000/- for sponsored seats
Note: Part-Time students have to pay Rs. 15,000/- per semester extra.
