Jiwaji University (JU) provides Post-Graduate courses in the field of Business Administration. The application procedure of the University starts in the month of June and ends in the month of July or August (as per the given dates).

The application procedure is an offline procedure and the aspirants may fill the application form with the help of kiosk person and the detailed information is given in below article. The form is available online but the submission of the form is an offline procedure only.

The University organizes Entrance test for both the Post-Graduate course. All aspirants may fill the application form for the maximum of 5 courses and separate registration fee as per the eligibility of the course.

Jiwaji University MBA Admission 2018 Eligibility Criteria

MBA/PGDM

Master of Business Administration (MBA): [2 Years]

  1. Chemical Sales & Marketing Management

Eligibility: Aspirant must have passed Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with Chemistry/Chemical Technology/Industrial Chemistry/Biochemistry/Bachelor of Pharmacy with 50% marks.

  3. Business Economics
  4. Human Resource Development
  5. E-Commerce

Eligibility: Aspirant must have passed Graduation in any branch with aggregate 50% marks [For B F].

  • Hospital Administration

Eligibility: Aspirant must have passed Graduation in Arts/Science/Commerce/Engineering/Technology/Hospital Administration/Pharmacy/dental/Medical/Business Administration or any other professional Undergraduate or PG degree with 50% aggregate marks from any recognised University/ Equivalent Foreign University.

Aspirants with graduation in distance method can apply for MBA in any of the specializations mentioned above.

MBA/PGDM

All the interested aspirants may apply for the any of the course described above as per their interest and eligibility. No changes will be made after the last date of counseling.
  • If a provisionally admitted student is declared fail, his/her deposited fee will be refunded after deducting 10% of the fee.
  • All the aspirants are advised to go via all the details need before filling the application form and some important points are mentioned below:

    • If the age is more than the requisite age the application will be rejected and no action would be taken further.
    • Any aspirant involved in illegal activity will not be applicable for taking admission in any of the course.
    • An aspirant will not be allowed to take admission in any course which is running during working hours if the aspirant is full-time government employee/ non-government employee. The kiosk person will help the students in filling the form and the fee of application form is Rs.600/-.

      Step-2: There are some details and documents need while filling up the application form mentioned below:

      • Family details like Father’s name, Mother’s name and their occupation
      • 2 Passport size recent photographs for getting it scanned for admission form
      • Academic details like 10th, 12th Marks and Graduation Marks
      • Address for correspondence
      • Contact number
      • Date of Birth
      • Nationality

      Step-3: After filling a form, at the end aspirants have to sign a declaration and the kiosk person will give the printouts of Admission form cum receipt of payment and the hall ticket bearing the roll number [For Entrance based course].

      Step- 4: Aspirants need to submit the print out of clear application form by speed post or by registered post along with photocopies of all the mark sheets, caste certificate, and certificate concerned to participation in NCC, NSS, Sport and Co-curricular activities to below mentioned address:

      REFUND OF FEE:

      • If any aspirant leaves the course or desires to cancel his/her admission before the last counseling, the fee will be returned to him/her after deducting 10% of the fees deposited by him/her.
      • After counseling, if some seats remain vacant or due to any kind of reason, they will be filled up by the respective heads or coordinators as per the aspirants merit in the admission test.
      • If an aspirant seeks admission to another course provided by University till last counseling day, the fee shall be transferred to that course after deducting 10% of the total deposited fee. However, they can take admission in courses which are running post-regular working hours and they required to offer a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.
      The application process is explained below:

      Step-1: Aspirants required to visit the website www.mponline.gov.in to get a reach to the site of online; the aspirants can go to the kiosk of online and ask the kiosk person for submission of admission form of Jiwaji University Gwalior.
    • An aspirant, who left the course in between after taking admission in the same course, due to any reason, would not be given regular admission in the same course.
    • In order to qualify an aspirant must secure in test minimum 30% (25% for SC/ST/OBC) marks.

    For MBA, the selection would be on the basis of 3 stages:

    Stage-1: Entrance Exam

    The Entrance exam would be of 100 marks and there would be 4 sections containing 25 questions each. The total time of exam will be 90 minutes.

    Stage-2: Interview (10 Marks)

    Stage-3: Group Discussion (10 Marks)

    The aspirants are advised to note below mentioned points regarding the selection:

    • The list of selected aspirants will be prepared in accordance with their merit in the Entrance test. After depositing fee the aspirant has to submit one copy of the receipted challan with the course counselor of the respective department.
    • If an aspirant fails to report at the time of the call the aspirant shall forfeit his/her claim for admission.
    • In case an aspirant fails to submit the fees on the day or time of counseling then the aspirant will not be entitled to admission and seat will be allotted to next aspirant on the list.

    The separate list will be prepared for General and Reserved category. However, if an aspirant of reserved category finds his/her merit in both the lists, he/she will have the choice to opt any of these.
  • Counseling for the admission will be held on scheduled time at Galav Sabhagar and the admission will be finalized at the time of counseling.
  • The aspirants need to access individually before the counseling team.
  • Aspirants should bring all the need documents at the time of counseling.
  • After the counseling, if the course counselor is convinced with the claim of the aspirant, then the aspirant shall be allocated an admission slip and after production of which the aspirant shall be entitled to deposit the requisite fees at the Bank counter of the Central Bank of India, University discipline immediately.
  • Jiwaji University MBA Admission 2018 Reservation Criteria

    • Aspirants belonging to the category of SC/ST/OBC and Physically Challenged will be given below mentioned relaxation:
    • Relaxation of 3 years in upper age limit
    • Relaxation of 5% in the qualifying exam
    • Of the total seats, 16% and 20% seats will be reserved for the aspirants belonging to SC and ST.
    • Two extra seats will be created in each course for the following:
    • 3% of total seats in all categories will be given to sons/ grandsons/ daughters/ granddaughters of freedom fighters, for sons/ daughters of permanently disabled defense personnel working and died, and physically participants of these categories.
    • A horizontal reservation of 30% will be given to female aspirants in all categories.
    • Of the total seats, 14% seats will be reserved for OBC category aspirants (except who are in creamy layer).
    1. One seat forwards of regular teachers and officers of the University.
    2. One seat forwards of regular class 3rd and class 4th employees of the University.
