Indian School of Business is a private business school. It has two campuses situated in Hyderabad and Mohali. It was started in 1996 by a group of businessmen and academicians. It is one of the prestigious business schools in India.

Indian School of Business provides management programs. PGP (PG Program in Management) is its Flagship Program. YLP is a stabilization program that ultimately leads to the Financial Times ranking, PG Program in Management at the Indian School of Business. The school also provides seats in YLP program (Young Leaders Program).

The registration for admission to YLP program is done in online mode. Aspirants who wish to apply need to submit the application form on the official website of Indian School of Business i.e. 

The selection is done on the basis of entrance test score namely- GMAT/ GRE followed by an interview. Qualified aspirants in interview round will be considered for admission procedure. Shortlisted aspirants on the basis of their GMAT/ GRE score will be called for interview round.

ISB YLP Eligibility Criteria

To seek admission to YLP program in Indian School of Business, aspirants have to fulfill the clear eligibility criteria prescribed by the school.

  • Aspirants also should have qualified any of the entrance exam GMAT or GRE.
  • Students should have graduation or post-graduation degree from a recognized university or institute.
  • The at least marks need to be applicable for admission is 50%.

ISB YLP Application Process 2018

The registration is done in online method only. Students who wish to apply can submit the application form on the official website of the school.  Applications received after the due date will not be accepted.

At the time of application form submission, aspirants have to pay an application fee. The amount of application fee is non-refundable. It can be paid in online mode through net banking, credit card and debit card

Students have to mention a valid email address or phone number on the application form. Further information regarding admission procedure will be sent by email.

Participants are advised to make sure that, all the information which is mentioned on the application form must be accurate and similar to the information of original documents. If any aspirants found inapplicable at the time of admission procedure his/ her candidature will be canceled.

  4. Login after the confirmation of email
  5. Fill the application form with all the need information
  6. Upload the scan copy of signature and photograph
  7. The image size should not be more than 50K
  8. Verify all the information and save the application form
  9. Pay application fee either of the available mode
  10. Take the print out of application form for future reference

ISB YLP Selection Procedure

There is three stages of the selection procedure. First stage candidate has to apply by sending the application form, fee, and one essay. In Second stage selected aspirants will be judged on basis of GMAT/ GRE score, then they have to write 2 essays after that they will face evaluation. The last stage is interview round. Aspirants have to qualify all the stages of selection procedure to be shortlisted for admission to YLP program in ISB.

  • At the time of document verification procedure, aspirants have to bring all the need documents.
  • Shortlisted aspirants on the basis their GMAT/ GRE score will be called for interview round.
  • The interview is held in face to face pattern.
  • Qualified candidates in interview round are required to go for document verification process.


GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a national level online test (Computer Based Test).GMAT is conducted by GMAC for admission to more than 5400 programs in various Business Schools around the world.

The exam evaluates four basic skills- Verbal Ability, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Analytical Writing. The question paper consists of total 90 questions. Students required to attempt all the questions in the period of 3 hours 30 minutes.

GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is an internationally standardized test which is a need for admission to most of the graduate schools in the United States of America. It is also accepted by some of the most famous Graduate and Business schools in different countries of the world.

The exam is held in online (Computer Based Test) as well as offline (Pen and Paper Based) mode. The period of the paper is 2 hour 30 minutes.

GRE exam consists of following sections.

  • Verbal Reasoning
  • Analytical Writing
  • Quantitative Reasoning.
Qualified aspirants in interview round need to go for document verification procedure.
