Aspirants applying to Master of Chemical Engineering program or any of the M.tech. programs provideed at ICT must fulfil any of the following eligibility criteria:
Aspirants with M.Sc. degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology or Biochemistry can also apply.
Pharm. or B.Sc. in Textile Procedures/ Textile Chemistry or B.Text. in Oils, Oleochemicals and Surfactants Technology.
The aspirant should have a Bachelorโs degree in Pharmacy or B.tech. degree with 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.
M.Tech. from ICT or any equivalent examination of IIT/NIT or any other University recognised by the UGC, with 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (55% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA for the backward class aspirant].

The aspirant must have a B. Tech. Engg./ B. Sc.(Tech.)/ B.Tech - in any discipline of Chemical Technology/ Biotechnology/ B. in Perfumery and Flavor Technology
The aspirant should have a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering or B.Sc. (Tech.) or B.Tech. in Food Engineering/ Food Technology/ Food Science/ Food Procedure Technology/ Food Procedure Engineering, or B.Sc. (Tech.) in Food Technology.
The aspirant must have passed B.Tech. In Bioprocedure Technology courses, aspirants with B.Pharm.

M.Tech. in Paints Technology / Polymer Engineering and Technology or B.Chem.Tech. degree in Pharmaceutical Technology or Biotechnology or Biochemical Engineering or Bachelors in Chemical Engineering or equivalent with at least 60% marks in aggregate (55% marks for aspirants in Backward Classes).
M.Tech. M.Pharm
The aspirants applying for M.Pharma. must have a B.Pharma. The at least marks need for aspirants belonging to Backward Classes is 55%.

M.Sc. Chemistry
The aspirant must have a B.Sc. degree with Chemistry as a major subject and Mathematics at H.S.C. level with minimum 60% of the marks in aggregate or equivalent grade average.
M.Sc. Engineering Mathematics
The aspirant should have passed B.Sc. with Mathematics as a major subject or B.Tech./B.E./B.Sc. (Statistics) with minimum, four Mathematics courses from a UGC/AICTE recognised university/ Institute. The aspirant should be a full time industrial/ R & D employee with minimum two years experience in a chemical or allied industry or dealing with chemical business or should be a permanent teacher having full-time teaching experience of minimum two years in any recognised Engineering and Technology College.
2. The industry/ college/ University/ Institute management where the aspirant is serving must undertake the responsibility of releasing the aspirant for coursework (theory Classes), experimental work (Laboratory work) or discussions with the related research guide from time to time.
The aspirants who have completed the qualifying examination in one sitting will be preferred.
M.Sc. Physics (Material Science)
The aspirant must have B.Sc. degree with Physics at the third year of the course of any University recognised by the UGC and must have passed the qualifying examination with minimum 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA for the backward class aspirants) are applicable to apply. The aspirants who have completed the qualifying examination in one sitting will be preferred.
Apart from the regular eligibility criteria, aspirants applying under the sponsored criteria have to fulfil the following conditions as well:

M.Sc. Textile Chemistry
The aspirant should have passed B.Sc. degree with Chemistry from any University recognised by the UGC and passed the qualifying examination with minimum 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA [50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA for the backward class aspirants] are only applicable to apply. The aspirant must have passed the qualifying examination with minimum 55% of the marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (50% for the students from a reserved category only from Maharashtra State) are applicable to apply. Master of Engineering [ME] (Plastic Engineering)
The aspirant applying for M.E. must have passed B.E. or B.Tech. [55% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA for the backward class aspirant] in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Plastics Engineering / Polymer Engineering / Production Engineering /Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Plant Engineering or any post-HSSC four year degree course from IIT/NIT or any University/ Institute recognised by the UGC/ AICTE, with 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.

For M.Pharma., the aspirants will be selected on the basis of the merits in GPAT. For M.Tech., the aspirants will be selected on the basis of their GATE score.
