Eligibility Criteria for GGSIPU UG Admissions 2018

Bachelor of Architecture [B.Arch.]

  • Students looking for admission must have studied 10+2 with Mathematics and English as the mandatory subject from recognized board.
  • Aspirants must have done 3 years Diploma in any stream after 10 years of schooling recognized by central Government with Mathematics and English as mandatory subjects.
  • Aspirants who are waiting for the results can also apply for B.Arch. course.

Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] + Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Chemical Engineering) , Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] + Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Computer Science & Engineering) & Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] + M.Tech. (Information Technology)

  • Students must have passed Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics personally are also applicable to apply.
  • Aspirants must have passed 12th class or equivalent from recognized board with at least aggregate 55% marks.

Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] + Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Biotechnology)

  • The aspirant must also pass compulsory English language subject.
  • Aspirants should have passed the 12th class examination or any other equivalent examination from the recognized board with at least aggregate 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and any one of Biology or Biotechnology.
  • Those students can also apply who have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics personally.

Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Laws [B.A.L.L.B.] {Hons}

  • Aspirants must have passed the higher secondary examination organized by the state board of secondary education or its equivalent examination with at least 70% aggregate marks.
  • Aspirants who belong to SC/ST category must have scored 60% marks in HSC examination.

Note

  • The aspirant must be an Indian citizen.
  • Aspirant’s age should be 21 years at the time of admission.

  • Students who have passed 10+2 year of ITI or three-year diploma in any branch are also applicable to apply.
  • Aspirants should have passed 10+2 CBSE format with English as a subject in the qualifying examination.

Bachelor of Vocational Studies [B.Voc.] (Interior Design), Bachelor of Vocational Studies [B.Voc.] (Applied Arts) & Bachelor of Vocational Studies [B.Voc.] (Mobile Communications)

  • Students looking for admission must pass 12th class of 10+2 format or CBSE or equivalent board with Physics and Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects.Or
  • Aspirants must have done three years diploma in any branch from the reputed university.
  • Aspirant should have passed 10+2 year ITI in relevant branch from recognized university.Or

GGSIPU UG Admissions 2018 How To Apply

Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Laws [B.A.L.L.B.] {Hons} , Bachelor of Architecture [B.Arch.] & Bachelor of Vocational Studies [B.Voc.] (Automobiles)

Students can obtain the application form and brochure from the university website www.ipu.ac.in and applicable students are advised to submit the application form along with CET fees of INR 1000/- excluding procedure charges and taxes.

  • Aspirants required to fill their individual details along with entrance examination marks and aggregate marks obtained in each subject while applying online.
  • The application must be submitted within 5 working days of the last date of form submission along with the eligible fees.
  • Admit cards will be available via the online method only.
  • There will be no rounding-off for the percentage of marks of qualifying examination.
  • If the aspirant submitted his/her details, they cannot edit the same and should re-register in case they required changing the individual information.
  • Aspirants should upload the filled in application forms and enclosures given below via online method only.
  • Fees should be paid online via Net Banking /Credit Card and Debit Card or by cash payment in any discipline of Indian Bank.
  • Aspirants are advised to take the printout of CET application form as proof of application.
  • If documents establish to be forged at the time of admission then university have rights to cancel the seat of the aspirant.
  • The incomplete application form will be rejected and no requests will be not entertained afterward.
  • Separate application forms should be submitted for each programme.

GGSIPU UG Admission Procedure 2018

Bachelor of Architecture [B.Arch.], Bachelor of Vocational Studies [B.Voc.] (Automobiles) & Bachelor of Vocational Studies [B.Voc.] (Construction)

Admission in B.Voc. and Integrated courses are primarily based on the IPU-CET 2017. NATA test is organized by National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture which is the part of Council of Architecture.

  • Selected aspirants will go via the counseling procedure which is as follows:

Counseling procedure

University provides offline counseling which is further divided into two categories i.e. first and second counseling. Counseling process is discussed as below:

Offline First Counseling

  • Aspirants should access the venue on the scheduled date and time along with the documents for verification.
  • First counseling indicates the selected number of aspirants who will be called for counseling and is displayed on the university website “www.ipu.ac.in”.
  • Firstly, aspirants will be called according to the rank secured by them in the merit list.
  • Applicable aspirants should submit the counseling procedures fees of amount Rs. 1000/- which is non-refundable.

  • Aspirants must pay the fees immediately on the spot at the time of admission.
  • Aspirants are allowed to withdraw the admission in the first counseling by submitting the request at the following address:
  • After submission of clear fees, Admission Officer will give a duly signed Admission Slip to the aspirants.
  • Students didn’t allow to change the programme during first counseling but they can change the programme during second counseling by depositing the additional amount of Rs. 5000/- in the form of DD in favor of Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University payable at Delhi
  • Aspirant’s seat will be canceled who fails to appear on the notified venue, date and time.
  • University stops admission or counseling once if the seats get filled up.
  • Only CET qualified aspirants will be applicable for admission after attending the university counseling.
  • Aspirant’s selection for B.Arch. course is based on NATA. Depending on merit and eligibility seats will be given to aspirants.
  • If aspirants request for withdrawal of admission it shall not be entertained via post/ email/ fax.

Offline Second Counseling

  • If students were absent in the first counseling then they will be allowed to attend the second counseling.
  • If aspirants pay the second counseling procedures fees if they already paid the first counseling fees and vice versa.
  • Open house counseling will be conducted only if the seats remain vacant.
  • Rest of the counseling process remains same as of the first counseling.
  • All aspirants who have taken admission via open house counseling shall not be applicable for admission in management quota.
  • Only CET qualified aspirants will be admitted for admission via management quota by producing original hall ticket for admission.
Fees Structure of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University

Reservation Criteria

  • 10% of total seats will be situated to the aspirants belong to management quota.
  • In the case of married women applying for the course, they required producing the caste certificate in name of her.
  • If there will be any change in the reservation policy then it should be taken by the government of NCT Delhi.
  • 27% seats are reserved for the Delhi OBC category aspirants. to General Category will only be done after the last counseling.
  • If aspirants belong to outside Delhi for SC/ST category they required submitting the reservation certificate.
Only if the students will submit the category certificate from the Competent Authority of the Delhi Government.
  • 85% seats are reserved for the Delhi region aspirants and 15% seats are reserved for the aspirants belong to outside Delhi region.
  • 15% seats will be reserved for the Foreign Nationals or Persons of Indian Origin or Foreign students
  • One seat will always be reserved for the Kashmiri migrants in each programme.
  • Conversion of reserved seats SC, ST, DEF, PWD, Minority, etc.
  • Important Notes

    • University will only display the ranks of those aspirants who are qualified entrance test CET.
    • Reserved seats for the outside Delhi category will be converted to Delhi category and vice versa for the programmes for which offline counseling will be done.
    • University has the rights to add or remove any programme from the list of the programmes grouped together for the Purpose of admission.
