Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya is one of the Chhattisgarh largest and oldest institutions of higher education and a central university situated in Bilaspur. It was founded on June 16, 1983. It is certified by NAAC as B+ University.

University covers nearly 32 numbers of teaching departments provideing higher education of different courses in the areas of Arts, Commerce, Education, Engineering and Technology, Humanities, Life Sciences, Management, Pharmacy, Sciences and Social Sciences.

University invites applications for both the Under Graduate & Post Graduate integrated courses (BA + MA, B.Com + M.Com, B.Sc + M.Sc, BA-LLB, B.Com – LLB, BSW+MSW) in which interested aspirants can get admission via Vishwavidyalya Entrance test.

Aspirants can submit the application form via both the online and offline method and the interested aspirants can download the application form from the university website.

For online application, form aspirants have to submit the application fee of Rs. 400/- and Rs. 200/- (for SC/ST/PwD aspirants) and for offline application form fee paid is of Rs. 500 and Rs. 300 (for SC/ST/PwD category aspirants).

  • Aspirants must pass in 10+2 level with Biology/Maths/Agriculture from recognized board or equivalent university with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] + Master of Science [M.Sc] (Biotechnology)

  • Aspirants must pass in 10+2 level with Biology as the main subject from recognized board or equivalent university with minimum of 60% aggregate marks.

  • Aspirants must pass in 10+2 level with Science (Mathematics/Biology) as the main subject from recognized board or equivalent university with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Aspirants must pass in 10+2 level from a recognized board or equivalent university with 45% aggregate marks and 40% marks for aspirants belong to SC/ST category.

B.Com - LLB

Step To Apply

B.Sc , BA & M.Sc

  • University invites applications for admission to the different courses via Vishwavidyalaya Entrance Test.
  • Filled in application form can be submitted via two modes i.e. offline and online.
  • Aspirants are recommended to read the instructions cautiously before filling up the application form.
  • Application forms must be obtained from the official university website “www.ggu.ac.in”.

Online Mode:

  • The aspirant must submit the online application form by visiting the university website “www.ggu.ac.in”.
  • After deposit, the application fee again visits the website and fill up the personal information.
  • Aspirants can obtain the online application form by submitting the fee of amount Rs. 400/- and Rs. 200/- (for aspirants belong to SC/ST/PwD category aspirants)
  • While visiting the university website aspirant must have to click on Online Application Form/New Registration and fill up the need information.
  • After that aspirant must have to choose payment options method i.e. online or via bank challan. If aspirant seekings to submit fee via Bank Challan then take a print out of challan generated online and deposit the fee in any discipline of State Bank of India.

Offline Mode:

  • Aspirants can obtain the application form offline by downloading and taking the printout of application form available in the university website “          www.ggu.ac.in” or at University Counter.
  • Aspirants can register themselves by submitting the fee of amount Rs. 500/- and Rs. 300/- (for aspirants belong to SC/ST/PWD category aspirants)
  • University will not be responsible for any delay in delivery of application forms of the aspirants.

Aspirants must have to submit the application form along with the following documents via Speed/Registered Post/Courier/ Ordinary post/by hand:

Selection of the aspirant to the above-mentioned courses is done on the basis of Vishwavidyalya Entrance test organized by the university.

Notes

Hostel:-

  1. University offers hostel accommodation to both boys and girls.
  2. University is having total two hostels one each for boys and girls separately.
  3. Hostels will be allotted to the aspirants according to the priority based.
  4. First priority will be given to those who were admitted during the earlier academic session.
  5. The second priority is given to those admitted to a full-time program and coming from outside Bilaspur
