Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) is a National Law University established in the year of 2004 under the Gujarat National Law University Act, 2003 in the state of Gujarat. It is one of the most prestigious law schools in India. The university is located at Gandhinagar, which is the capital of Gujarat and is located 7 kilometers north of the city of Ahmadabad.

GNLU University is one of the top law universities in India which offers Integrated Undergraduate and PG courses. JNL University currently offers B.A- LL.B. (Honors), B.Com-LL.B. (Honors), B.Sc-LL.B. (Honors), B.B.A-LL.B. (Honors), B.S.W-LL.B. Honors), each of five-year duration. Candidates seeking Admissions to the MBA program are done on the basis of merit list prepared by giving weight age to CAT 2017 scorecard, Legal Aptitude Test, GD and the Overall Academic record of the candidate.

Eligibility Criteria

MBA in Financial Management and Business Laws

The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in commerce, management, law, arts, science and engineering except fine arts, with at least 55 percent marks or equivalent CGPA (50 percent in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) category) from a recognized university or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

Only Candidates who have appeared at Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017 conducted by IIMs are eligible to apply.

Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelorโ€™s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if she/he submits a certificate latest by October 01, 2018 from the Principal/Registrar of her/his College/Institute (issued on or before June 30, 2018).

How to apply?

The online Application form will be available on University website (www.gnlu.ac.in). Candidates will be required to submit the application form along with the application fees of Rs 2000/- for General/OBC/Specially-abled persons and Rs 1500/- for SC/ST online at www.gnlu.ac.in 

Selection Process

The admission to the MBA (Financial Management and Business Laws) course will be Shortlisted based on Common Admission Test 2017 (CAT 2017), conducted by IIMB followed by group discussion and personal interview to be conducted by GNLU.
