Gautam Buddha University (GBU) is a Research University situated in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is a state university which was founded in 2002.
The University provides Post Graduate courses in the field of Science, Arts, and Management. The application procedure for all the three course-levels is online and aspirants can reach the application form via University’s official website. The university has M.Sc. in 5 branches, MA in 10 branches, and MBA in 6 branches.
GBU organizes entrance test followed by Group Discussion (GD) and Individual Interview (PI) for admission to MBA program. The admission to MA and M.Sc. programs is based on merit in the qualifying examination.

The aspirant must possess graduation degree from any recognised university with at least 50% marks for general aspirants and 45% marks for aspirants who belong to SC/ST category.

The admission to the majority of MA and M.Sc. courses is on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. In case of Master in Disability Rehabilitation and Administration, GBU organizes a written examination followed by Interview and Group Discussion. The written examination will have questions about Disability and Rehabilitation management, and logic and reasoning. The weight for Interview and Group Discussion is 25% each.
For admission to MBA courses, the university organizes a written test. The written test will have 4 sections – Reasoning and Aptitude, Mathematical Ability and Data Interpretation, English proficiency, and General Awareness. The weight of Reasoning and Mathematical ability section is 30% each and English Proficiency and General Awareness is 20% each. Aspirants shortlisted on the basis of marks scored in the written test are then called for Group Discussion (GD) and Individual interview (PI).
